Gwyneth Paltrow and Tracee Ellis Ross team up in LA to film a Target commercial, seen pushing a shopping cart in heels

Gwyneth Paltrow joined forces with fellow actress-turned-entrepreneur Tracee Ellis Ross to shoot a Target commercial at a store in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The Goop founder, 51, who launched her lifestyle brand in 2017, struck a deal with the retailer last year to carry items from her skincare line, Good. Clean. Goop.

Meanwhile, Ross, 51, and her hair company Pattern Beauty partnered with Target in 2021.

During Wednesday’s shoot, the two ladies scoured the aisles with Gwyneth pushing a bright red Target cart.

They made their way through the makeup department, womenswear and then the checkout counter as cameras rolled.

Gwyneth Paltrow joined forces with fellow actress-turned-entrepreneur Tracee Ellis Ross to shoot a Target commercial at a store in Los Angeles on Wednesday

Gwyneth looked incredible while rocking a chic double denim outfit that included a cropped jacket and flares.

The mother-of-two paraded around the popular store in brown suede heels.

Rounding out her overall look, the Academy Award-winning actress had her blonde tresses styled long and straight.

After checking out blazers in the women’s section, the Shakespeare in Love star could seen pushing a shopping cart full of items through the store as Ross followed closely behind.

Ross (born Tracee Joy Silberstein) showed off her sense of style in a long white blouse, which came down past her waistline, a matching full-length skirt and big black boots.

For the advert, the former Black-ish leading lady had her long dark locks styled in thick braids that hugged her head and then flowed down past her shoulders.

Ultimately, the ladies were filmed making their way towards the register with Paltrow leading the way still pushing a cart and Ross right behind her, as they both projected a fun and lighthearted vibe with plenty of smiles and laughs.

Paltrow’s road from A-list actress to successful businesswoman Goop began when she founded the company in September 2008, initially as a weekly e-mail newsletter that provided things like new age advice and an editor’s note from the actress who offered up insight into her daily life.

Goop went on to expand into e-commerce, collaborating with fashion brands, launching pop-up shops, holding a “wellness summit, launching a print magazine, a podcast, that would be showcased in a docuseries for Netflix.

While the company has faced criticism for marketing products and treatments that were deemed harmful and false advertising of products, Goop grew substantially to be valued at about $250 million by early 2020, which has been attributed, in part, to Paltrow’s star power.

Tracee Ellis Ross Shares Heartfelt Tribute as Diana Ross Celebrates 80th Birthday

The legendary Diana Ross turned 80 on Tuesday and her second eldest child – Tracee Ellis Ross – shared a touching tribute detailing her many achievements both on and off stage.

The 51-year-old nepo-baby created an 80-second montage video featuring 80 ‘incredible’ pictures of the Detroit-born R&B diva, which was set to her 1988 song If We Hold on Together.

‘Did you know that from 1976 to 1985 (Rhonda was born ’71, me ’72, & Chudney ’74), my mama @dianaross put out an album a year, did multiple tours, produced and starred in a variety of TV specials, shot Mahogany and The Wiz, produced her legendary 1983 Central Park concert with an estimated 800,000 attendees,’ Tracee wrote on Instagram.

‘When the first night of the show got rained out, she chose to pay for and re-do it the next night. [She also] left Motown, purchased an entire floor of a prestigious Fifth Avenue building, bought an estate outside of New York, and an office building where she where she manufactured Diana Ross Pantyhose and other merchandise, and other huge personal life moments?’

Ross (born Tracee Joy Silberstein) continued: ‘This was at a time when women couldn’t apply for credit or serve on a jury, and didn’t have access to birth control but could get fired for being pregnant. Mind blown!’

The legendary Diana Ross (L, pictured in 2004) turned 80 on Tuesday and her second eldest child – Tracee Ellis Ross (R) – shared a touching tribute detailing her many achievements both on and off stage

By the end of the 1970s, Diana had lost her mother and had three little girls to raise all while having ‘a huge iconic career on her shoulders with no manager and no partner.’

‘She was also waking us up for school (she is the best waker-upper), having family dinner and bath time, recording while we slept, planning our birthday parties, play dates, doctor’s appointments, settling arguments between siblings – you know, all the mom stuff,’ the American Fiction actress wrote.

‘Amidst shattering records, breaking glass ceilings, and setting a new bar for style and glamour, we, her children, were always her priority. As I often say, “Diana Ross” the beloved global icon is legendary but she doesn’t hold a candle to my mama.’

Tracee – whose animated movie Jodie was just dumped by MTVE Studios – is the only one of Ross’ five children to never marry or have children.

The twice-divorced grandmother-of-seven welcomed Ross and her 48-year-old daughter Chudney during her six-year marriage to music exec Robert Ellis Silberstein, which ended in 1977.

Diana’s eldest child – daughter Rhonda Ross Kendrick – reposted several fans’ birthday tributes via Instastory including one captioned: ‘Happy 80th birthday to The Boss @dianaross!’

Ross welcomed the 52-year-old motivational singer during her six-year romance with Motown founder Berry Gordy, which ended in 1971.

The newly-appointed Saint Laurent brand ambassador – who boasts 4.1M social media followers – shared a vintage video of herself performing a live rendition of her 1992 song That’s Why I Call You My Friend in honor of her special day.

The 2024 Billboard Women In Music event was held at YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California.

The annual ceremony was hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross and will be available to stream on Billboard starting Thursday.

Colombian hitmaker Karol G was named Billboard’s Woman of the Year while Victoria Monet is this year’s Rising Star award recipient. Pop goddess Kylie Minogue received the coveted Icon Award.

According to Billboard, the Women In Music honorees each ‘demonstrate the degree to which music has become a global enterprise.’

Along with being award recipients, Karol G, Charli XCX, Maren Morris, NewJeans, TEMS, Victoria Monet, Young Miko and Luísa Sonza also performed at the gala in LA.

Last month Bebe was forced to slam claims that she was ‘seated at the back’ of the Grammys 2024 – as she took to Twitter to provide proof.

Following the star-studded evening at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, whispers emerged among fans that the Say My Name singer had been positioned at the back of the show – away from the superstars.

Taking to Twitter, one eagle-eyed fan shared an image of what appeared to be her placecard on a fold-up chair behind the stars, alongside a caption reading: ‘Fans have noticed that Bebe Rexha will be sitting in the back at tonights Grammys’.

Bebe however swiftly countered the claim, sharing her own post on the site showing her blowing a kiss at the camera and another snap of her VIP ticket.

In another display of ‘proof’, she also shared an image from a fan page showing her posing up a storm with fellow ‘Albanian Queen’ Dua Lipa.

In January the star slammed body shamers in an Instagram post. The songbird said, ‘It’s 2024. Skinny shaming and fat shaming is hurtful and it perpetuates harmful stereotypes.’

The crooner went on to explain that no one knows what a person is going through, and they may be eating too much to cope or too little to feel some control in their life.

And she reminded fans it is all about being ‘healthy’ and not how one looks.

Rexha signed off by saying people should be nice to each other and ‘spread more love and compassion.’
