The personality already has two children Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, who she shares with her late husband Tom Parker.

Alongside her post she penned: ‘MUMS… maternity underwear is where we’re at right now This set from @themuthaproject is honestly saving me at the moment!!

It comes after Kelsey opened up about being trolled for moving on from Tom.

Kelsey surprised followers in January by revealing she is pregnant with a third child – her first with Will.

Ahead of welcoming her and Will’s baby, she revealed she has been getting a lot of hate online but her new partner has been very supportive and told her to ‘block out the haters’.

Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine, in their first joint interview together, Kelsey explained: ‘It’s been three years, this is Tom’s three year anniversary of his death and it’s almost like people want me to feel guilty for moving on.’

Kelsey was devastated after husband Tom lost his battle with brain cancer aged just 33, four years after they tied the knot.

She found love again last year, meeting Kent tree surgeon Will on a night out. They announced their romance last September and Kelsey, who is due in June, previously revealed her third pregnancy was a ‘happy accident’.

Speaking on the ITV daytime show to mark Lorraine’s March4March mental health initiative, The Mirror report that Kelsey asked Will: ‘Does it stress you out that I get upset about trolls and people commenting on our relationship?’

Will replied: ‘Not really, I just tell you not to look at them don’t I. There’s bound to be some people sending nice messages but block out the haters.’

She added: ‘I’m always going to have guilt but what’s so hard is that Tom’s not here anymore so what do people want me to do?

‘Our house was full of so much sadness but now it’s full of happiness, the kids deserve that more than anything.

‘They’ve been through so much, I feel like we are taking the steps forward to heal but I just want other women to feel like it’s OK to move on, it’s not taking anything away from the love I had for Tom.’

Kelsey also opened up about the impact meeting Will has had on her life and how trolls don’t ‘understand how she feels’ because they are not in her shoes.

She started dating tree surgeon Lindsay last year, and told how her partner lives with her at the home she shared with Tom and the kids, remarking how he ‘gradually moved in’ when the time ‘felt right’.

The couple stated that they didn’t have a preference about the baby’s sex and were currently ‘undecided’ about whether they wanted to know – as the answer is waiting for them in an email.

Kelsey recently revealed she has been bombarded with online abuse since confirming her pregnancy.

She told The Sun: ‘I think people think I should be sitting at home and dressed in black all day. I have two children (and another one on the way) that I have to get out of bed for. People are shocked I go to Tesco but I need to feed my kids.’

Kelsey was devastated after husband Tom lost his battle with brain cancer aged just 33, four years after they exchanged vows.

But she admits she must look forward and establish a future for herself and their children after coming to terms with the fact that he is gone.

  • Jay McGuiness ‘breaks down in tears and flees filming’ on new BBC show after struggling to discuss the loss of his bandmate and pal Tom Parker

Jay McGuiness ‘breaks down in tears and flees filming’ on new BBC show after struggling to discuss the loss of his bandmate and pal Tom Parker

Jay McGuiness reportedly broke down in tears and had to stop filming during the new BBC series Pilgrimage, after becoming emotional over the loss of his bandmate Tom Parker, who died in 2022 at the age of 33 following a battle with brain cancer.

In the second episode of the series, Jay, 34, joins six other celebrities on a spiritual trek across the Alps.

According to The Mirror, an emotional moment unfolds as Jay opens up to comedian Helen Lederer, 70, before becoming teary-eyed and excusing himself from filming so he can ‘cry in the toilet’.

Speaking ahead of the show’s airing, Jay admitted he anticipated emotional moments saying: ‘I had a lot of anticipatory nerves before the show, I knew I’d talk about Tom Parker at some point during filming. I cried more than I’ve ever cried.’

Tom, a fellow member of The Wanted, shared his diagnosis of terminal brain cancer with fans in October 2020, revealing he had an inoperable tumour.

At the time, he posted a heartfelt message alongside a photo of himself with his wife Kelsey and daughter Aurelia Rose: ‘Hey guys, you know that we’ve both been quiet on social media for a few weeks and it’s time to tell you why.

‘There’s no easy way to say this but I’ve sadly been diagnosed with a brain tumour and I’m already undergoing treatment.

‘We decided, after a lot of thought, that rather than hiding away and trying to keep it a secret, we would do one interview where we could lay out all the details and let everyone know the facts in our own way.

‘We are all absolutely devastated but we are gonna fight this all the way. We don’t want your sadness, we just want love and positivity and together we will raise awareness of this terrible disease and look for all available treatment options.

‘It’s gonna be a tough battle but with everyone’s love and support we are going to beat this. Tom and Kelsey xxx.’

Jay also revealed that after Tom’s passing, he would still speak to him, wondering whether he could somehow hear

He admitted: ‘I have yes… it’s a conversation which always be coloured by the question of like “can you even hear this?”

Reflecting on Tom’s diagnosis, Jay said: ‘With Tom, they knew it was serious quite quickly and there wasn’t really lots they could do, and I think it felt really senseless.’

The star added that while his pal was sick he had moments where he would pray and then when he passed away he felt like ‘I wonder if he can hear me now’.

Speaking ahead of the show's airing, Jay admitted he anticipated emotional moments: 'I knew I'd talk about Tom Parker at some point during filming. I cried more than I've ever cried' (L-R Siva Kaneswaran, Tom, Max George, Jay, Nathan Sykes in 2013)

Jay noted that he felt it ‘ignited a lot of unanswered questions’ and in some ways he is ‘open to the idea that there’s something out there’.

Jay, who was raised in a Irish Catholic family in Nottinghamshire, said the show felt like the ‘perfect thing to do’ as he explored his relationship with faith.

But as time’s gone on, he believes that the rule book that comes with being a Catholic, is too judgmental for where he is in life.

In the three-part BBC Two series, Jay is joined by presenter Jeff Brazier, comedian Helen, The Traitors winner Harry Clark, comedian Daliso Chaponda, Paralympic athlete Stefanie Reid and journalist Nelufar Hedayat.

Together, they walk nearly 186 miles over 12 days, from Austria to the sacred abbey of Einsiedeln in Switzerland.

Pilgrimage: The Road Through The Alps airs April 20 at 9pm on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.

The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes reveals whether the band will ever reunite – three years after Tom Parker died from brain tumour

    •  Have YOU got a story? Email tips@dailymail.com

Nathan Sykes has revealed whether he thinks The Wanted will ever reunite after the tragic death of his bandmate Tom Parker.

Tom passed away at the age of 33 in March 2022 after a long battle with brain cancer, leaving behind his wife Kelsey and two children Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four.

Tom’s final performance with The Wanted came just days before his death, and now Nathan, 31, has opened up on why he doesn’t think the band will reunite again.

His bandmates Max George and Siva Kaneswaran are touring together as The Wanted 2.0, but Nathan said he and Jay McGuinness would struggle to perform without Tom.

He told The Sun: ‘I’m really happy for them. They get a lot of enjoyment in performing the music and they see it as a tribute to Tom.

‘I think it’s really difficult imagining The Wanted as a four-piece because The Wanted has been and will only ever be a five-piece, it’s difficult imagining not performing with Tom.’

The Wanted released a greatest hits album in 2021 and performed a one-off show that same year, before they went on tour in early 2022, which ended just two weeks before Tom’s death.

Recalling the emotional concerts, Nathan said the band were so ‘grateful’ to have had that time and admitted that some of his fondest memories with Tom were from that period.

He said their last gig in Liverpool was their toughest one because it felt as though everyone knew that would be the last time they would be together on stage as a five.

While Nathan is uncertain about reuniting with The Wanted, he has launched a solo music career and has released a new single, Pieces of Me.

He is also currently writing an album and promised it will be an emotional one for fans, though he’s keeping the title a secret for now.

Alongside his busy schedule, Nathan is also planning a wedding with his stunning fiancée, Charlotte Burke.

His widow Kelsey recently looked back on her and Tom’s last moments together while speaking on Paul C. Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast.

She shared that Tom had lost much of his voice on the day he passed away, but was able to hold the conversation one last time.

She explained: ‘We spoke about the kids and I just said to him as well at that point like “You can go, really, I know you’re holding on for me but you can go, I know you’ve had enough.”

‘And he had had enough, he’d fought so hard and I knew at that point he’s like “I’ve had enough girls, I’m knackered.”

‘He’d just been on tour and I think with Tom, he loved that he was the pop star and that about him.

‘I feel like he’d lost himself with it all as well which was so sad and I don’t think he could live in this lifetime with what he’d become.’

Kelsey, 34, is now expecting her third child with new partner Will Lindsay, 27, who works as a tree surgeon.

Ahead of welcoming her and Will’s baby, Kelsey and her new beau headed to Port Lympne Reserve in Kent on Friday.

Joining the couple were Kelsey’s kids Aurelia and Bodhi as the family explored the reserve and came up close with rhinos, tigers and monkeys.

Kelsey’s baby bump was on full display as she walked around the reserve hand-in-hand with Will, sporting a tight-fitting khaki midi-dress paired with bejewelled chunky boots.

He daughter Aurelia was seen excitedly touching her mum’s belly before an adorable moment saw little Bodhi lean over to kiss the bump, ahead of the pair welcoming another sibling.

Kelsey recently revealed she has been bombarded with online abuse since confirming her pregnancy with new boyfriend Will.

Her pregnancy announcement divided followers, and she admitted she was targeted by online trolls after breaking the news.

She told The Sun: ‘It’s crazy. I knew I would be judged. But people who haven’t lost their partner, I don’t know how you can pass comment on me? I have been in such a dark place from losing Tom.

‘I was so lonely and so unhappy. I feel like there are people who want me to always feel like that. I feel like I do deserve to try and find a bit of happiness.

‘I think people think I should be sitting at home and dressed in black all day.

‘My first Christmas with love back in my life, and I couldn’t be more grateful.’

Kelsey received a wealth of support from her friends and fans in the comments section, including Charlotte Dawson who left a string of red hearts.

Others said: ‘You had a love that would have probably lasted forever but the universe decided differently. You deserve another chance at love Kelsey, go grab life with both hands and be happy.

    ‘So happy for you’; ‘I’m so happy for you darling’; ‘Everything you deserve, I’m so happy for you’; ‘Happy you’ve found someone, despite the grief, and you shouldn’t feel guilty…’;

‘Sweet Kelsey I am over the moon for you. You deserve this! He is one lucky guy to have you and those babies.’

In November, Kelsey recounted how she was really lonely following the death of Tom.

She said that she never expected to be dealing with something as difficult as the death of a partner at her age.

And while she admitted she is still grieving, she discussed finding love again after becoming a widow at just 32.

Kelsey explained that she initially found it difficult to put herself out there and date because she was worried about the reaction.

She said: ‘There’s no wrong or right way to grieve. We all talk about time, when’s the right time to move on, but I don’t think there is a right time and with the cards I’ve been dealt I’m having to roll with those cards.’

She added: ‘I never thought at the age of 32 with two children I’d be widowed.’

Kelsey explained that she met her new boyfriend, Will Lindsay, organically after deciding not to try dating apps over fears people would think she had ‘moved on’ and had forgotten her pop star husband Tom.

She told Ranvir: ‘We met out with friends, he was out with a group of boys and I was out with a group of girls and we just had a connection.

‘I just wanted to meet someone authentic. I couldn’t have done dating app, I was so scared and it was the judgement from people about moving on and meeting someone, but everyone’s so supportive.

‘The love I’ve been shown is so amazing.’

She revealed that her parents-in-law are very supportive of her new love life and have been helping her since the death of her husband.

‘I’ve got such an amazing village and with Tom’s parents they’ve supported me with whatever I’ve decided to do and they understand how hard it is.’ she said.

She went on to say that although she still loves Tom and he is ‘very much alive’ in their home, she was lonely and wanted someone to share her life with.

Will, who comes from a tight-knit family in Kent, suffered his own heartbreak in 2017 when his father David died aged just 50 when he was 21.

Kelsey added that her life was turned upside down and wanted people to be kinder to those who are grieving.

She said that although people may have thought she had the perfect life, she still has difficult days.

She said: ‘I’m navigating my life, a life I never thought I’d have.

‘But my life has been flipped upside down so I want a little more kindness, because you’ve not walked a day in my shoes.’

Kelsey became a widow in March 2022 when her husband Tom – best known as a member of The Wanted – died after battle with brain cancer aged just 33.

Two years later she has revealed she is in a new relationship with her tree-surgeon partner, who she met while she was fundraising in honour of her late husband.

And the loved-up couple were spotted sharing a romantic kiss last week during a family holiday to Whitstable.

The two  enjoyed a romantic stroll across the beach with her children Amelia, five, and Bodhi, three.

Walking hand-in-hand the couple laughed together as they lifted Bodhi in the air and swung him while Amelia played.

Kelsey, who dressed in a casual hoodie and comfortable trousers, looked happier than ever.

A source told the publication: ‘Will and Kelsey really hit if off earlier this year and he has been incredibly supportive of her.’

‘He helped her at a recent charity football match for Tom Parker and has attended other events.

‘She hasn’t been shy about their romance and they pair looked very loved up at a gala last week.’

Kelsey said that she feels in a much better place than in the year following Tom’s tragic death.

‘I’m in a better place than I was. I think I just jumped straight back into work, because ultimately, I was thinking ‘S***, I need to provide for the kids’,’ she said.

‘Now I feel lighter and I feel like I can see more clearly,’ she added. ‘I think I was having an out of body experience.’

Max George’s health struggle which saw him almost left BLIND after suffering an accident and a serious eye infection

Max George has shared the shock news that he is set to undergo heart surgery, but it’s not the first time he has struggled with his health.

Back in 2021, The Wanted singer, 36, was almost left blind after suffering an accident while abroad which followed a serious eye infection.

The injury around his right eye was particularly dangerous as Max already has sight loss in his right eye.

He nearly lost his sight to an eye infection ten years ago, meaning part of his left eye had to be removed, but then he also had problems with his right.

This week, Max, who has battled alcoholism previously, admitted he is ‘very lucky that his heart problem was caught when it was’ as he shared the news.

He hasn’t yet disclosed what condition he is suffering with but did explained that he will be spending Christmas in hospital as he awaits a heart operation.

During a holiday in 2021, the singer had posted pictures of himself on Instagram by the sea, enjoying a platter of fresh fruit as he bathed in the sunshine.

He then decided he would try to see some more of the aquatic life around him by going swimming.

Unfortunately things took a turn for the worse as Max dived into the water and painfully collided with a rock on the seabed.

Showing off scratches to his face and an injury just below his eye, the frowning star told fans: ‘Always wear goggles in the sea…’

He then joked: ‘You should see the other guy. A MASSIVE rock at the bottom of the Adriatic.’

After fellow Wanted singer Tom Parker remarked on his Instagram post: ‘Getting beaten up by the rock,’ Max laughed: ‘I hit my face on a rock at the bottom of the sea.’

He said at the time: ‘I can’t see properly out of my right. My left eye does all the work.’

Following his health scare this week, Max shared to Instagram: ‘Hey everyone, Yesterday I felt really unwell and was taken in to hospital. Unfortunately after some tests they’ve found that I have some issues with my heart.’

He added: ‘I have a lot more tests to determine the extent of the problems and what surgery I will need to get me back on my feet.

‘It’s gonna be a difficult few weeks / months… and Christmas in a hospital bed wasn’t exactly what I had planned! But, as always, I’m surrounded with love and support by my wonderful partner Maisie [Smith], her family, my family and friends.. and I’m 100% in the best place.

‘Although this is a huge shock and no doubt a set back, it’s something I’ll take on with all I’ve got! I count myself very lucky that this was caught when it was.

‘Apologies if I bore you with updates in the coming weeks..I’ve probably got a month in a bed and there’s not THAT much to do! Let’s do this! Much love, Max x’

Shortly after his announcement, Max posted a light-hearted jibe from his hospital bed about Manchester City loss in Wednesday night’s football game.

Lying in bed with a heart monitor across his chest, he jokied: ‘So I think they are officially trying to kill me off… come on boys.’

Taking to Instagram she posted a slew of snaps of the late singer and said that while Christmas for the family is filled with s’o much love and joy’ she feels his ‘absence in everything’.

Kelsey wrote: ‘This will be our third Christmas without Tom, and while the holidays are filled with so much love and joy, they also bring moments of deep sadness’

‘Watching the kids excitement reminds me of how much he loved this time of year… and I feel his absence in everything we do’.

She continued: ‘But we find strength in our memories! In each other, and in creating new traditions while keeping Tom’s spirit alive. To anyone navigating grief during the holidays, you’re stronger than you know’.

Max revealed on Thursday that he would be spending Christmas in hospital to undergo heart surgery.

The Strictly star, 36, who has battled alcoholism previously, admitted he is ‘very lucky that this was caught when it was’ as he shared the shocking health scare.

Max hasn’t disclosed what condition he is suffering with.

He wrote: ‘Hey everyone, Yesterday I felt really unwell and was taken in to hospital. Unfortunately after some tests they’ve found that I have some issues with my heart.

‘I have a lot more tests to determine the extent of the problems and what surgery I will need to get me back on my feet.

‘Let’s do this!

Max has been open about his battle with binge drinking and alcoholism over the years, previously admitting he drank ’10 pints and three bottles of wine in one night’.

Last year, the singer revealed he used alcohol to ‘adapt’ to the spotlight and to help ease his anxiety during his ‘lowest ever point.’

He referenced one incident in which he consumed 10 pints and three bottles of wine in one night while out celebrating his birthday.

The binge contained roughly 38 units of alcohol. The NHS advises that men and women don’t consume more than 14 units across the space of a week.

Speaking about his drinking on Channel 4’s Scared Of The Dark, he said: ‘I would always be p***ed before we performed. I struggled to adapt so I used to drink to make myself feel like it didn’t bother me.

‘It’s quite hard sometimes to differentiate between the anxiety and depression but mine was certainly more the anxiety side which started when the boys got to number one with All Time Low.’

Referencing his birthday binge session, he confessed: ‘I was ill for a week. The doctor looked at my liver and said my liver count was pretty low, I’m not messing with my liver. So I stopped.’

He added that he was also inspired to stop drinking after learning of late bandmate Tom’s stage four glioblastoma diagnosis.

Breaking down in tears, he confessed to Paul: ‘How do you deal with it? There’s no cure for that so you just sort of learn to carry on with your life I guess. But deal with it, definitely not.

‘I don’t—I don’t think I’ll ever be okay with it you know. One of the last things I said to him was— I thanked him for making my life so much better than what it ever could have been, you know, like that whole journey through being in the band.

‘He was my best friend. F**k. I just don’t want it to be like a burden or a thing with anyone else.’

Max previously revealed that sobriety has made life clearer, despite leaving him ‘really bored at weekends’.

He said in March last year: ‘I haven’t drunk in 18 months, everyone says “I bet you feel well better don’t you?”

‘No, I just feel really bored at weekends! Just grim as usual through the week. It has been good, it’s easier to keep fit… so yeah, everything’s pretty clear now.’

The Wanted released a statement in January 2014 to announce they were taking time apart to ‘pursue personal endeavours’.

During an appearance on Lorraine earlier this month, she told host Ranvir Singh that she never expected to be dealing with something as difficult as the death of a partner at her age.

She confessed: ‘Tom is so alive in our house and we talk about him every day. We’re still processing it every day, why did it happen to us?

‘We’re still dealing with the conversations but its about finding happiness and with friends and family there’s only so much they can do and its lovely to have someone to offload to in an evening.

‘I was so lonely and I just wanted someone.’

She added that she feels such a strong connection with her tree surgeon partner, 27, because he also experienced the death of a loved one when he was young.

Will, who comes from a tight-knit family in Kent, suffered his own heartbreak in 2017 when his father David died aged just 50 when he was 21.

Kelsey added that her life was turned upside down and wanted people to be kinder to those who are grieving.

The Wanted’s Max George admits he ‘never’ would’ve imagined reuniting with Siva Kaneswaran as a duo when band first split as they ‘weren’t close and didn’t spend any time together’

The Wanted stars Max George and Siva Kaneswaran have admitted they never saw their reunion as The Wanted 2.0 coming, as they were never very close.

A decade after the boyband’s split, the two singers, both 36, reformed the group earlier this year, following the tragic death of their former bandmate Tom Parker.

After Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes chose not to join, Max and Siva joined forces as a duo in April, embarking on a tour as the Wanted 2.0.

But, appearing on Friday’s Lorraine, they admitted that neither of them could have imagined they’d be touring as just the pair of them when the band went on hiatus in 2014, as they weren’t ‘the closest’ and spent no time together outside of work.

Max confessed: ‘I’m not going to lie, if you’d said to us 10 years ago that it’d be me and Siva doing this together we’d be like no, never.

‘Because me and Siva, we weren’t the closest throughout the band. We didn’t live together.’

Siva echoed: ‘Max was with Tom, I was with Nathan and Jay.’

Max continued: ‘Apart from working, we didn’t spend any time together so I feel like I’ve got to know Siva more in the last year than in the whole 10 before it.

‘Which is mental, but then to be on the road and it just be the two of us, you find out more about each other when it’s just the two of you.’

Reflecting on the decision of Jay and Nathan not to return to the group, Max added: ‘We had lots of conversations with the other boys and each other.

‘The other boys are so happy doing what they’re doing and they’re really focussed on their lives and their careers.

‘Me and Siva were just constantly like we want to get out there and continue the legacy of the band.’

Siva went on: ‘We missed being in the band…we really wanted to get back on stage.’

However, Max then gave a shock interview saying the split was down to growing tensions in the band, upsetting the other members.

Siva, in particular, voiced his anger at the time, as he revealed that the rest of the group had only found out about the interview via social media, slamming it as ‘disappointing’ and ‘uncalled for’.

Max had told The Sun: ‘Over the past year there has been a lot of tension. Our personal lives drove us apart — things started to happen and we were drifting.

‘We used to be such a brotherly pact, but it started to feel like it wasn’t The Wanted any more.’

He revealed that he and Nathan had pushed for the split, while Siva, Tom and Jay had been fiercely opposed, but added: ‘It shouldn’t be a surprise for anyone. As upsetting as it might be to some of the other guys, I have to live my life.

‘Me and Nathan have been just as loyal to this project as anyone else – sometimes you just have to be realistic.’

While Max also confirmed that filming their E! channel reality series The Wanted Life made things ‘very difficult, with specific mention of their their being friction with Siva’s fiancée Nareesha McCaffrey.

In response, Siva hit back at Max’s claims as ‘untrue and very unfair’ and admitted he was shocked by the interview.

Speaking to MailOnline at the time, he said:  ‘I’ve got many thoughts on it, where do I start? You know we all agreed to take a break to pursue various endeavours after the tour and that was what we had all agreed on by phone.

‘We all had a phone call and gave our personal thoughts on where we wanted to go and we released a statement. And the statement is what we all agreed on, so it was quite a shock to have that recent article come out from Max, for me and the fans because we found out at the same time.

‘We had no idea, literally because we had all released a statement and that was what we had agreed on it. It was a shock and uncalled for.’

Refuting claims it was their personal lives which led to tensions, Siva said: ‘I think it’s untrue and very unfair.

‘I think from doing the TV show we all kind of knew where we stood and from that I felt like there was some sense of… I felt like it was every man for himself looking back on when the show aired.’

He continued: ‘I’ve never been that way and I’d never actually seen it before until I looked back at the show. I think that is where we lost the team element and from there it kind of just went.’

‘I think on the show a lot was playing up for the camera and with regards to our personal life, and my personal life, I think the camera dramatized a lot of things and stereotyped us, which I think was unfair and I think people’s true colours came out,’ he added.

Siva’s relationship with his now fiancée Nareesha McCaffrey was well documented during the show – The Wanted Life – and Max in particular was very vocal about his feelings towards her.

In response, Siva hit back at Max's claims as 'untrue and very unfair' and admitted he was shocked by the interview, later admitting lhe was unsure if the band could 'move past' what Max had done (pictured in 2014)

In hindsight Siva revealed that he wouldn’t have let his fiancée, who is an ‘amazing person’ be involved but ‘you live and learn.

Discussing how he was planning on moving forward with Max before the group went on their final tour, he said: ‘I’m going to have to talk to him and find a way forward and be adults about it.

‘All of us boys are like brothers, it’s all I’ve ever known and we’re going on tour together and I think we’re just going to be professional with each other and give the fans a good show because it’s all about the fans at the end of the day.

‘I wouldn’t say he betrayed us but he didn’t communicate enough with us. There was a major lack of communication. It was disappointing, that’s all it was.’

Siva later told Perez Hilton that he was unsure if the band could ‘move past’ what Max had done, saying: ‘Honestly, I think quite frankly, what Max did was very disappointing.

‘We really have to sit down and discuss this. And I mean, figure out if it’s something that we can move past and just communicate. I think that was the problem, not communicating.’

Siva and Max revealed they were reuniting for a series of tour dates in April, kicking off in India.

Priscilla Presley reveals film role Elvis ‘regretted’ not taking after Colonel Tom Parker talked him out of it

Elvis Presley once passed on the chance to share the screen with Barbra Streisand in a career-defining moment that never was.

According to his ex-wife Priscilla Presley, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll turned down the lead role opposite Streisand in the 1976 remake of A Star Is Born.

‘Barbra had offered him the part,’ Priscilla, 79, revealed to People. ‘Colonel [Tom Parker] talked him out of that, saying, “Oh, it’s not going to be good. She’s going to be in charge, not you. Her movie, not yours.”‘

Priscilla added, ‘Elvis regretted that because he felt he could have played that part.’

Elvis, whose career was tightly controlled by Parker from 1955 to 1977, often struggled with the constraints of his manager’s focus on commercial success over artistic fulfillment.

‘He wanted to be in great movies, not the stupid movies that he did like Girls! Girls! Girls! That wasn’t Elvis,’ Priscilla said, reflecting on his desire for more meaningful roles.

‘Colonel did not get him really at all,’ she explained. ‘That was hard for both Jerry and I, but you couldn’t say anything to Colonel. You just had to keep quiet.’

Streisand’s A Star Is Born premiered in 1976, with Kris Kristofferson stepping into the role originally meant for Elvis Presley, marking the third adaptation of the timeless story of love and fame.

While the film received mixed reviews from critics, Streisand’s performance and her iconic song Evergreen garnered widespread acclaim.

The movie won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for Best Original Song, with Streisand herself also taking home a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy.

Between 1956 and 1969, Elvis Presley graced the silver screen in thirty-one films, with varying degrees of success in both music and acting.

In the early years of his career, Elvis aspired to be seen as a serious actor, aiming to reach the same heights of acclaim as Marlon Brando or James Dean.

However, over time, the quality of his films deteriorated, and by the time he starred in the forgettable rom-com Change of Habit in 1969, Elvis had all but given up on acting.

Elvis revived his career with a powerhouse performance in the 1968 Comeback Special that aired on NBC, re-establishing himself as a force in music and entertainment.

The special, which aired on December 3, 1968, became NBC’s highest-rated show of the year, marking a turning point in Elvis’s career.

From that moment, Elvis committed to live performances, thrilling audiences with hundreds of concerts until his untimely death in 1977 at the age of 42.

Meanwhile, Priscilla, along with her granddaughter Riley Keough, paid tribute to Lisa Marie Presley, Priscilla’s daughter and Riley’s mother, at Graceland in October.

In honor of Lisa Marie’s posthumously released memoir, From Here to The Great Unknown, Riley, 35, who co-wrote the book, has been touring the country, engaging with readers through a series of discussions.

Lisa Marie Presley tragically passed away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 54, following a cardiac arrest.
