Chris Hemsworth is proving once again that he’s more than worthy of wielding Thor’s mighty hammer.

The 41-year-old Aussie actor turned up the heat on Instagram on Thursday by sharing a jaw-dropping video of himself shirtless and working up a serious sweat during a boxing session in his backyard.

Clad in just a pair of black shorts and gold training shoes, the Marvel star threw a flurry of powerful punches at a heavy teardrop bag attached to an outdoor home gym setup.

‘Avengers pre-game workout,’ Hemsworth captioned the clip, which instantly sent fans into a frenzy.

The video, set against the lush greenery of his Byron Bay estate, shows Chris’ sculpted physique in full display as he delivers quick jabs and hooks with flawless precision – his red boxing gloves a blur with the force and speed of his strikes.

While Hemsworth hasn’t officially confirmed his return as Thor for the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars instalment, fans were quick to speculate that the post was a not-so-subtle hint that the God of Thunder will be back on the big screen.

‘Can’t wait for that reunion with Loki,’ one follower commented, while another gushed, ‘Marvel is nothing without Thor!!’

Hemsworth, who has long been known for his gruelling fitness regime, regularly trains with longtime friend and personal trainer Luke Zocchi and often shares glimpses of his workouts online.

He also co-founded the fitness app Centr, which offers training and nutrition programs inspired by his own routines.

The Hollywood heavyweight has been enjoying downtime in Australia with wife Elsa Pataky and their three children, following a busy year of filming and global promotions.

While Marvel fans wait eagerly for official announcements regarding the actor’s next blockbuster appearance, one thing’s for sure – Hemsworth is in fighting form and ready for battle.

Chris is well-known for having a strict exercise regimen, which helps him maintain his superhero physique.

In an interview with Australian Men’s Health, he said his ‘body shuts down’ when he doesn’t work out.

‘I just don’t feel good. I like it for a couple of days, then everything just starts to hurt,’ he confessed.

He also stressed the importance of developing a workout regimen that keeps you motivated.

‘I do a lot of different things. You’ve got to be an explorer in the world of fitness and exercise and constantly be on the lookout for something fresh,’ he said.

Meanwhile, HIRT stands for high-intensity resistance training, and involves strengthening exercises to build muscle.

The pair were initially in control of their steeds and gracefully steered them through the trees – but they encountered an unexpected challenge traversing shallow waters.

Struggling momentarily to control her charger through a small lake, Elsa teetered dangerously on the brink of a spill.

Fortunately, the Tidelands star managed to regain her balance at the last second and captured the heart-stopping moment on film.

‘Lol! Riding or snorkelling?’ Elsa playfully captioned the footage, showcasing her trademark humour.

Elsa has long been passionate about horse riding and has instilled a love for it in her daughter.

In 2023, Elsa was announced as the Magic Millions Global Ambassador for Showjumping by The Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo & Showjumping.

The actress lives in New South Wales with her Marvel star husband Chris Hemsworth and their three children, India Rose, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, 11.

She is regularly spotted at jumping competitions alongside India, as the youngster is an accomplished rider.

The family reside in a $30million mansion in Broken Head, near the celebrity enclave of Byron Bay.

The fortress-like property, which sits high above Seven Mile Beach, boasts a gymnasium, butler’s pantry, fire pit, change rooms, and outdoor play area.

Elsa previously said that the family decided to move to Australia for a quieter, more laid-back lifestyle.

‘We did the move three years ago and I’m so happy with it,’ she told Perth Now in 2017.

‘In Byron we just feel like locals. People really respect us…

‘It’s what I always dreamt of giving to my kids.’

She discussed her love of horse riding in an interview with Women’s Health in March 2021, saying the activity kept her sane during Covid.

‘When we were in lockdown, I could still ride, so it was [all about] my family, my husband and my horses,’ she said.

‘It’s such a passion, kind of like meditation for me. I think it’s important for your mind to have something you enjoy – a hobby that’s just for you.’

‘So excited to introduce our beautiful daughter and Felix’s baby sister, Luka. 24.04.25. So proud of our family,’ Jason wrote.

The pair are also the proud parents to one-year-old Felix, who they welcomed in October 2023.

Jason appeared as Robbie Hunter on the long-running Channel Seven soap opera Home and Away from 2003 – 2006.

He later starred as the Red Ranger on the New Zealand-filmed children’s action series Power Rangers Jungle Fury and in The Mystery of Natalie Wood, opposite Colin Friels.

He famously played Robbie Hunter on Home and Away from 2003 to 2006, alongside the likes of Chris Hemsworth and Isabel Lucas.

But he is no longer acting these days, and instead has a successful career behind the scenes in Australia and the United States.

The 40-year-old was most recently the associate producer of Channel 10’s zany reality show The Masked Singer Australia.

Smith also served as a producer for the American music quiz show Name That Tune.

Name That Tune aired on Fox in the U.S., but was filmed in Sydney in late 2020 due to Australia’s comparatively lax Covid restrictions at the time.

It was hosted by 30 Rock’s Jane Krakowski and American Idol judge Randy Jackson.

In 2019, he hosted Home and Away’s Christmas in Summer Bay TV special.

That role was accompanied by a podcast series, which he also presented, featuring interviews with cast members.

At about this time, he was asked on The Morning Show if he would consider ever returning to Summer Bay.

‘If Robbie’s evil twin brother Bobby wants to come back, I’m in,’ he said.

‘If the right storyline comes along, I’d love to come back.’

‘Coming back to the show and walking through those doors of the Summer Bay house for the first episode gave me all the feels. It felt like I never left,’ he added, referring to filming the TV special.

In addition to his television work, Smith hosted Nova FM’s Late Nights show for a year in 2016.

The glamour couple purchased their sprawling 4.2 hectare estate back in 2014 for $7million, eventually constructing a $50million mega mansion on the site.

Speaking to News Corp, she said that the couple found Los Angeles, where they were residing previously, too ‘restricting’.

‘When you’re in Los Angeles, work suffocates you,’ she said.

Elsa added that Byron Bay was far removed from the constant industry chatter that plagues the City Of Angels.

‘There, all the conversations, even the billboards you see on the street, have to do with the world of cinema and its industry,’ she said.

She continued: ‘It can make you lose perspective.’

It was a sentiment that Hemsworth shared in an interview with Modern Luxury back in 2020.

‘I love what I do as an actor, but when you are surrounded by it constantly, it becomes a bit suffocating’ he said.

‘It’s nice to have conversations with people and be a part of a community that doesn’t live and breathe that world.’

Hemsworth added that Byron Bay provided a calmer environment in which to raise their children.

The couple completed their mega-mansion in 2021, and the monolithic home skyrocketed in price since the family moved in.

Originally estimated at $20million, property experts said at the time the LA-style compound, located in Broken Head near Byron Bay, was worth an eye-watering $30million.

More recent valuations had placed the pad at $50million.

The property features six bedrooms, a spa, games and media rooms as well as sprawling outdoor living areas.

The Thor star, 41, revealed he found it confronting to be co-starring alongside the renowned actress.

‘I’ve admired Halle’s work for years, and I was very intimidated to sit opposite her within the scene and try not just be in awe of what she was doing,’ Chris told E! News.

He added Halle quickly put him at ease, and said he was delighted to be sharing the screen with the esteemed Monster’s Ball actress.

‘People bring out not just the best in you, but also a comfort level where it does feel like it’s a place to explore and to examine different ideas, try different things,’ he said.

‘That was the experience. I loved every second of it.’

Chris Hemsworth has made the shock admission he was initially ‘very intimidated’ by the prospect of working alongside Hollywood icon Halle Berry in a movie

Meanwhile, Halle, 58, said she enjoyed working with Chris because he behaved like a true gentleman on set.

‘He stood up for me in a moment in our movie. I instantly knew right then I’m going to follow this guy, be a fan of this guy for the rest of my life because he stood up for a woman,’ she said.

In early October, Halle was revealed by Deadline to be in negotiations to join the movie adaptation of Don Winslow’s book Crime 101, which was published in 2021.

Bart Layton is directing the film, which will be a follow-up to his 2018 crime/thriller American Animals.

In addition to Halle and Chris, Irish actor Barry Keoghan will also star in the project.

Winslow’s narrative follows organised jewellery thefts happening along the Pacific Coast, which law enforcement officials have traced to Colombian cartels.

However, one detective in particular discovers a different lead, and hones in on one suspect.

In addition to helming the film, Layton wrote the script with help from Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy screenwriter Peter Straughan.

Ben’s appearance at CinemaCon comes after last week, in a break from his norm, he shed some light on the breakdown of his marriage to Jennifer Lopez in an interview with British GQ.

A source told DailyMail.com that he made the decision to speak out about the breakup publicly for the first time because he was ‘so over’ the narrative that painted him as the bad guy and Lopez the ‘victim.’

The Batman actor reportedly also hoped it would give him the ‘closure’ that he desperately ‘needed’ and ‘stop the constant questions’ about their split so he can move on and ‘focus’ on his ‘career and family.’

‘He is so over this divorce and the narrative that he was grumpy and that Jen was a victim,’ that insider revealed.

After being married in July 2022, the former couple were separated 19 months later, in April of last year.

That source maintains Affleck ‘never planned to address their divorce’ publicly but ultimately felt he needed to clear the air following his ex-wife’s shock comments to Interview magazine last October.

At the time, the singer and actress described the breakup as the ‘hardest time in her life’ and said her ‘whole f**king world exploded,’ but added that it ‘lead her to where she wanted to go.’

But all the while, ‘Ben had never planned to address their divorce because it is a private matter, and he respects Jen,’ the source explained.

‘But after she spoke about him to Interview magazine he decided it was time to say what he had to say in the nicest way possible.’

During his interview with British GQ – which took place in late January and early February but hit stands earlier this week – Affleck admitted that he and JLo had different views on fame.

‘There are a lot of people who I think have handled celebrity more adeptly and more adroitly than I have, Jennifer among them,’ he said.

‘My temperament is to be a little bit more reserved and private than hers. As happens in relationships, you don’t always have the same attitude towards these things.’

As for what went wrong, he insisted that ‘there’s no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue’ when it came to the demise of their marriage.

‘I guess there’s a tendency to look at breakups and want to identify root causes or something,’ he continued.

He concluded by stating that he has ‘nothing but respect’ for his ex-wife.

Earlier this year in January, Lopez and Affleck’s divorce was settled but they weren’t declared legally single until last month on February 21 when the marriage was legally dissolved.

It comes shortly after it was revealed that the singer is ‘ready to date again’ after her divorce from Affleck was finalized.

‘Jennifer wants to be in love again,’ a source informed DailyMail.com last week, after the star took time to ‘heal her broken heart.’

The insider then revealed that the actress has interest in an actor from the hit Yellowstone series.

‘She had a crush on Rip Wheeler from Yellowstone and wants a guy like that, someone who can have her back and make sure she is OK. She wants to be put first and made to feel special.’

The source added, ‘Her life is a lot, she needs a man who can handle all that and still love her unconditionally like the way Rip love Beth Dutton.’

In regards to her plans for the year, Lopez ‘wants this summer to be amazing after a tough start to the year.’

The beauty is set to begin filming her new Netflix project called Office Romance alongside Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein – who has shared in the past that he has a ‘crush’ on the performer.

A separate insider told DailyMail.com, ‘After a very tough start to 2025, Jennifer can’t wait to start a new project and it certainly helps that she will be working with a very handsome and smart star like Brett.

‘He is one hot ticket and a real class act with talent to back it up – he not only acts but he writes amazing scripts. He is like the younger, better, British version of Ben. She thinks he is very cute.’

The source continued, ‘It will be a reminder to Ben that she is still hot property in Hollywood and how can that not make her feel great?

‘She is 55 and is still a box office dynamo. This will just be another reminder of that. Ben knows who Brett is, he is plenty aware. Brett is younger and smarter than Ben. It will irk him for sure.’

Chris Hemsworth seen helping police in desperate search for missing cop who vanished four days ago – as it is revealed the pair are surfing mates

Chris Hemsworth was spotted helping police on Wednesday as the desperate search for missing Queensland officer Jay Notaro enters its fourth day.

Detective Inspector Notaro, 45, was last seen on Tuesday when he disappeared while surfing at Hemsworth’s local break at Broken Head near Byron Bay.

It has now been revealed the police officer was part of an inner circle of surfing mates which included Hemsworth, 41, reported The Courier Mail on Friday.

The Hollywood star was seen speaking with police in the parking lot of Broken Head Reserve just 9km south of his hometown Byron Bay.

He was surrounded by five officers and two police cars and was seen gesturing as he answered their questions.

Friends of Insp Notaro said he frequented Broken Head and often drove down from his Gold Coast home to surf with Hemsworth and former pro surfer Luke Munro.

Chris Hemsworth, 41, was spotted helping police on Wednesday as the desperate search for missing Queensland officer Jay Notaro, 45, enters its fourth day

At the time of his disappearance, he was reportedly staying in the Byron Bar area for several days ahead of of his 45th birthday last Monday.

Hemsworth, Munro and their families were on a snowy holiday in Japan while Insp Notaro was in the area, having just returned to Australia the day he disappeared.

Insp Notaro was reportedly due to attend a birthday celebration dinner on Tuesday night with his friends but pulled out with complaints he was feeling unwell.

He was then last spotted via CCTV pulling into the Broken Head car park at around dawn on Tuesday.

It comes after the surfboard of Insp Notaro washed up on a beach undamaged 24 hours after he went missing.

A water, land and aerial search for the detective continued in far northern NSW on Wednesday, a day after he failed to report for duty at Ipswich Police Station, QLD.

The search has now entered its fourth day.

Officers found his car and keys in a carpark at Broken Head on Byron Bay’s southern fringe earlier this week.

Detective Inspector Notaro was last seen on Tuesday when he disappeared while surfing at Hemsworth’s local break at Broken Head near Byron Bay

Search crews discovered Insp Notaro’s surfboard on a beach 500m away.

The lack of damage to the board, and the benign conditions of the surf made his disappearance all the more perplexing.

‘The condition of that surfboard was unremarkable—there was no damage and the leg rope was fully intact,’ NSW Detective Inspector Matt Zimmer said.

‘The inspector is a very strong swimmer who is a previous officer in charge of the Queensland water police… and the condition that presented over the past few days were quite calm.

‘He would be extremely capable of managing those conditions due to his experience, [he was] an extremely fit man as well.’

Insp Notaro quickly rose through the ranks as a homicide investigator after first joining Queensland police in Townsville in 2003.

Insp Notaro was instrumental in solving major cases including the bikie-linked slaying of Gold Coast victim Greg Dufty.

He received a ‘compassion in policing’ award by the Queensland Homicide Victims Support Group for support he offered Mr Dufty’s partner and family.

The top cop then served in roles including officer in charge of the Gold Coast water police and Coomera police station.

Insp Notaro was recently transferred to Ipswich after being promoted to Inspector.

A squadron of emergency services made up of Queensland Police, water police, the Queensland Polair and surf lifesavers has taken part in the search efforts.

‘The search will focus on the areas between Lennox Head and Cape Byron, particularly the Broken Head area,’ a NSW police spokeswoman said.

Cross-Border Commissioner and former Queensland Police Union president Ian Leavers remains hopeful that Insp Notaro will be found alive.

The pair have known each other for many years.

‘Jay is one of the most competent and capable coppers I know, who has a great future in the police,’ Mr Leavers told the Courier Mail

‘He is a future leader of the police, especially in the higher ranks. I just hope he is found safely and we have a really good outcome.

‘He is not only a friend, he is one of the future leaders of the organisation. I’m praying, he’s just a champion.

‘If we had more coppers like that we would be a better organisation.’

Queensland Police earlier confirmed an officer was reported missing Tuesday afternoon.

‘Officers and the member’s family are concerned for their welfare due to the disappearance being considered out of character,’ a spokesman said.

‘Anyone with information that may be able to assist with the whereabouts of the member is asked to contact police.’

Colleagues were rocked by news of Insp Notaro’s disappearance.

‘Everyone is a bit shocked and hoping for the best,’ a senior officer said.

The Transformers One star told Nova’s Jase and Lauren show he lets his twin sons cut their own hair.

The admission came after host Lauren Phillips told the actor she spotted the young duo’s unique ‘dos’ on the red carpet at the premiere of Transformers One in Sydney.

‘I want to talk to you about your sons’ haircuts Chris,’ she said.

The Thor star added he wielded the scissors to create Sasha’s look, but was under constant supervision.

‘Sasha’s haircut I did myself but I was under strict instruction of what to do,’ he said.

While Lauren slammed the looks as ‘the worst haircuts I’ve ever seen,’ Chris was also quite cutting in his remarks.

Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky made the most of a recent bad storm in their home town of Byron Bay.

Posting to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, Elsa shared video of the glamour couple’s children ‘grass surfing’.

In one clip Chris, 41, and Elsa, 48, can be seen standing in torrential rain, each dressed in hooded jackets, as they watch one of their boys ‘surf’ rain soaked grass.

Another clip shows a group of young kids, wearing colourful wet suits, slide down a hill on their fin-less mini boards.

Meanwhile, Elsa shared with her followers the extent of recent rains in which her children can be seen walking through a flooded track.

The Madrid-born beauty captioned the lighthearted story with the words, ‘Finding the joy even in bad weather’ and added the Spanish phrase  ‘Al mal tiempo, buena cara’.

This is a version of the English phrase to ‘put on a brave face’ when faced with adversity.

Translated from the Spanish it means ‘If there is bad weather, put [on] a good face’.

Chris and Elsa share three children, daughter India Rose 12, and twin boys Sasha and Tristan, 10.

The recent bad weather in the Byron region came as Tropical Cyclone Alfred headed for the coast last week.

After it was downgraded to a tropical low it drenched the Gold Coast as well northern NSW.

It comes after Elsa recently opened up her decision to relocate to Australia with husband Chris Hemsworth.

Originally estimated at $20million, property experts said at the time the LA-style compound, located in Broken Head near Byron Bay, was worth an eyewatering $30million.

More recent valuations had placed the pad at $50million.

The property features six bedrooms, a spa, games and media rooms as well as sprawling outdoor living areas.

Elsa added that Byron Bay was far removed from the constant industry chatter that plagues the City Of Angels.

‘There, all the conversations, even the billboards you see on the street, have to do with the world of cinema and its industry,’ she said.

‘It can make you lose perspective.’

Equally, the Madrid-born actress said that she had no desire to uproot her family to make a return to her native homeland.

‘Living in Madrid is complicated when you’ve already lived in the countryside, in the middle of nature, it’s hard,’ she added.

It was a sentiment that Chris also shared in an interview with Modern Luxury back in 2020.

‘I love what I do as an actor, but when you are surrounded by it constantly, it becomes a bit suffocating’ he said.

‘It’s nice to have conversations with people and be a part of a community that doesn’t live and breathe that world.’

Hemsworth added that Byron Bay provided a calmer environment in which to raise children India 12, and twin boys Sasha and Tristan, 10.

‘L.A. is a tough place to get around with kids. There’s not a whole lot of foot traffic. It was all about loading up the car and car seats,’ he said.

‘Here, we just walk out the door and head to the beach down the street. It’s a much more simple life.”

For Elsa Pataky, the decision to relocate to Australia with husband Chris Hemsworth was all about regaining perspective.

The glamour couple purchased their sprawling 4.2 hectare estate back in 2014 for $7million, eventually constructing a $50million mega mansion on the site.

Speaking to News Corp, Pataky, 48, said that the couple found Los Angeles, where they were residing previously, too ‘restricting’.

‘When you’re in Los Angeles, work suffocates you,’ she said.

She added that Byron Bay was far removed from the constant industry chatter that plagues the City Of Angels.

Hemsworth recently revealed a new addition to the sprawling property – a lavish home gym.

The Thor star created a state-of-the-art training facility called The Shed for his fitness brand, Cent, which was unveiled in January.

Speaking to Realestate.com.au, Hemsworth’s personal trainer and business partner, Luke Zocchi, explained that the facility serves as a space for Centr trainers to test new workouts and equipment while also having fun.

‘It’s definitely next level,’ Zocchi said.

‘Chris made sure to include the latest and greatest Centr equipment in the gym.’

He mentioned that much of the equipment at The Shed -which includes treadmills, cable machines, weight benches, and power racks – is currently unavailable in Australia.

‘Some of the equipment isn’t available in Australia yet, but will be soon,’ Zocchi revealed.

‘It’s where Chris, the boys, and I can come through for a session, or we can just chill and recover when we need to. It’s a place to really get after it or reset, depending on what we need.’

Chris Hemsworth’s telling comments on James Bond role resurface amid new chatter that the Aussie actor could be the next 007

Chris Hemsworth is being eyed as a potential new James Bond.

Recent reports indicate that there is chatter that the Australian actor could take over the iconic role of 007 which has been vacant since 2021.

While several actors name’s have been kicked around for the past few years, Chris, 41, has again found himself in the mix.

Amid the chatter, the Extraction star’s telling comments on the role back in 2019 are again doing the rounds.

At the time, Chris revealed he’d ‘love to’ play James Bond after Daniel Craig hangs up his gun-holster for good with Bond 25.

Chris expressed his interest in the role while talking with Balance magazine, after the publication pointed out his critically-acclaimed performance as British Formula One driver James Hunt made him a perfect candidate.

He explained: ‘When we were shooting Rush someone had said that and I thought, “Cool, if this is my audition tape, then great.”

‘I don’t think you’ll ever meet anyone who doesn’t want to have a crack at James Bond. I’d love to do it.’

It comes after reports that James Bond will remain a man and will still be British or from the Commonwealth.

Fans of 007 feared Amazon Studios – owned by billionaire Jeff Bezos – would corrupt the British super spy after buying the Bond franchise and rights for £770 million from Bond stewards Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson.

But The Mail on Sunday revealed that Amazon this week circulated an internal memo stipulating the spy will not change gender or nationality.

A source said: ‘There have been so many erroneous rumours about the future of Bond. Amazon is committed to keeping the spirit of Bond alive and that means he has to be British or from the Commonwealth – and he has to be male.’

Ms Broccoli and Mr Wilson have fiercely protected the image of the British hero since taking over Eon Productions, the UK company behind previous Bond films, in 1995.

Ms Broccoli is said to have insisted on Bond remaining British before agreeing to sell. Eon was founded by her father and Mr Wilson’s stepfather, Albert ‘Cubby’ Broccoli, who bought the film rights to the martini-sipping, womanising spy from Bond creator Ian Fleming in 1961.

There have since been 25 Bond films, starting with 1962’s Dr No.

But last month Ms Broccoli, 64, and Mr Wilson, 83, announced they had sold all creative rights to Amazon, headed by bald-headed Mr Bezos, who some fans compare to a Bond villain.

Fans complained Amazon’s plans to develop spin-off shows including one focusing on the early days of 007’s secretary Miss Moneypenny would ruin the franchise.

And they feared Amazon would try to ‘wokeify’ Bond.

But  an Amazon insider said: ‘Jeff is a massive Bond fan and while he’s excited to see how Amazon can take the franchise forward there are certain things which are sacrosanct.

‘That’s why the memo went out this week, to reassure everyone.

‘But certain things are up for discussion, like whether the next Bond should be played by a man of colour.’

The last Bond film was 2021’s No Time To Die, starring Daniel Craig and Lea Seydoux.

Sex worker Blue Eyed Kayla Jade, 30, recently shared a video to social media in which she revealing she had stocked up on batteries for her adult ‘toys’ ahead of the cyclone’s arrival.

‘I have done all the important things. I have brought all my outdoor furniture inside… and all my toys are charged, just in case the power goes out!’ Kayla said.

Kayla later revealed she was trying to keep her spirits up during this difficult time.

‘I think with Australians, we don’t take too many things seriously… part of the culture,’ Kayla told news.com.au.

‘Even though there is a dramatic situation going on they’re happy to see the laughter out of it, see the positives and bring something happy to chaos.’

Many of Kayla’s 1.9million followers took to her comment section to roast her over the bold admission.

‘Meteorologist here, been watching this for a while, that storm is wild. Good thing the toys are charged. priorities!’ one person joked and a second added: ‘All the important things are taken care of.’

The worst of the weather is expected to hit the South East Coast of Queensland on early Saturday afternoon, which takes in the Gold Coast and is home to some of Australia’s most sought after beach-side real estate.

As Cyclone Alfred tracks toward Australia’s east coast, some of the country’s biggest celebrities are bracing themselves for the worst.

Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth and Channel Nine’s Karl Stefanovic both have multimillion-dollar properties at risk.

Former tennis champ Pat Rafter also has an A-list property in the path of the cyclone, as well as US Ambassador Kevin Rudd and his wife Therese Rein.

Byron Bay in far north NSW, the stomping ground of Chris, 41, and his wife Elsa Pataky, is also under threat.

The couple own a mega-mansion worth $50million, near Seven Mile Beach in the Byron Bay region, which is 111km south of the Gold Coast.

As Cyclone Alfred tracks toward Australia’s east coast, some of the country’s biggest celebrities are bracing themselves for the worst. Hollywood power couple Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky have a multimillion-dollar Byron Bay property at risk

Taking two years to complete, the home features six bedrooms, a spa, games and media rooms as well as sprawling outdoor living areas.

Also in Byron Bay is 52-year-old former tennis champ Pat, who lives with his family on a 28 hectare spread at Broken Head which he bought for $1.35million in 2016.

Further north Karl and Jasmine Stefanovic have their Noosa property to protect.

The Today show host, 50, and his designer wife, 40, are currently renting out their five-bedroom, five-bathroom holiday house for $1,000 a night.

MasterChef Australia star Shannon Bennett also lives in a sprawling $2million six-bedroom mansion which enjoys direct access to picturesque Belongil Beach.

Cyclone Alfred has slowed over warm water off Australia’s coast, increasing the chance of it strengthening to a category-three system.

The tropical cyclone will be the first to hit southeast Queensland and northeast NSW in over 50 years.

A warning zone stretching 650km remains in place from Double Island Point in Queensland to Grafton in northern NSW. The zone includes Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay and Ballina, but doesn’t include Grafton.

The category-two cyclone is expected to make landfall in the early hours of Saturday morning, Queensland Premier David Crisafulli said.

The Bureau said there was a chance the cyclone could make landfall directly over Brisbane, but the most likely crossing ‘still remains between Maroochydore and Coolangatta’.
