Nigella Lawson shows off her sophisticated style in an all-black outfit as she steps out for dinner with a mystery male companion

Nigella Lawson looked sophisticated as she stepped out for dinner in London on Monday with a mystery male companion.

The award-winning TV cook, 64, bundled up in a black blazer and a high-neck top, teamed with trousers and heeled ankle boots.

Meanwhile, her male companion dressed to impress in a long black coat and grey trousers.

Nigella, who is currently single, was married to journalist John Diamond, before he tragically died of throat cancer aged just 47.

Three years after John passed away, Nigella married wealthy art collector and advertising agency founder, Charles Saatchi, in 2003. But their marriage broke down after 10 years.

It was revealed last week that Nigella has signed up to be the face of Greggs bakery this Christmas.

However, while she has agreed to film an advert with the brand, the star reportedly won’t be endorsing the brand’s famous sausage rolls.

The Sun has revealed the TV chef, 64, will be putting her name to the high-street bakery chain’s festive flatbread and Christmas lunch baguette, but not the delightful flaky pastry.

A source told the publication: ‘[Nigella] wasn’t keen on putting her face to their sausage rolls though, and agreed to take part just to push their festive fare.

‘As well as their Christmas lunch baguette and their festive flatbread, Nigella is highlighting a special chocolate doughnut.

‘Despite the sausage roll snub, Greggs couldn’t be happier to have such a haute cuisine heavyweight on board.’

MailOnline have contacted Nigella’s representatives for comment.

Meanwhile last week Nigella was seen leaving a smart West London house clutching a bag of Greggs goodies as she filmed the festive advert in leafy Ealing.

It may be an unlikely pairing, but the star will receive a rumoured six-figure sum to lend her unique brand of suggestive sparkle to the company’s seasonal menu.

For the adverts, Nigella was wrapped up in a dark wool coat with a sprinkling of snow on her shoulders on the doorstep of the suburban house festooned with fairy lights.

Laid out on a table on set were a selection of Greggs’ seasonal hot drinks – which include orange hot chocolate and salted caramel latte – as well as chicken, sage and onion festive bakes, and Christmas lunch baguettes.

The chain’s festive menu is usually much-anticipated. Its mince pies are already in store, but it has not yet announced when the seasonal bakes will be on sale.

And this year they may sell like hotcakes as Nigella has an impeccable reputation for boosting sales.

Nigella has signed up for a Greggs Christmas advert - but the Domestic Goddess reportedly WON'T endorse their famous sausage rolls

Nigella has signed up for a Greggs Christmas advert – but the Domestic Goddess reportedly WON’T endorse their famous sausage rolls

In 2006, when she recommended goose fat as essential for the perfect roast potato, sales doubled at Waitrose and Tesco. And after using prunes in a recipe on Nigella’s Christmas Kitchen, Waitrose said sales of the dried fruit rose by 30 per cent.

Nigella and Greggs may have more in common than first meets the eye, as enjoy both unrivalled culinary success. Earlier this year, Greggs topped a poll for being the most popular fast-food chain in the UK, with its legendary sausage roll leading the pack.

Nigella also has a popular sausage roll recipe, which includes chestnuts, nutmeg and dried sage.

With 11 cookery bestsellers since her first hit, How To Eat, was published in 1998, she also has several successful TV shows to her name, including Nigella’s Christmas Kitchen.

Her pronouncements on food and domestic drudgery always draw attention – she never irons, she has admitted, prefers chocolate cake to Christmas cake, and once faced ridicule for (deliberately) mispronouncing microwave as ‘meecrowahvay’.

Most recently, she divided the nation when she revealed that she loved eating anything in bed which could be consumed with fingers or a spoon.

Whether that will extend to Greggs sausage rolls this Christmas is anyone’s guess.

Charles is believed to be single currently after his split from British beauty entrepreneur Trinny Woodall, 60, in 2023.

It was first reported in March 2023 the relationship had ended, with friends suggesting the 21-year age gap between them was to blame for them going their separate ways.

Two months after Trinny hinted the pair had gone their separate way, Charles was seen enjoying a cosy lunch date with the model Lady Martha Sitwell, 43.

Lady Sitwell later confirmed: ‘Yes, we met for lunch. Charles is a very clever, very funny man.’

Charles was seen ‘canoodling’ with Lady Sitwell in his usual corner table at the Mayfair restaurant Scott’s – where he had previously taken both Trinny and his ex-wife Nigella Lawson, 64.

They split in 2013 after pictures emerged of him grabbing Nigella’s neck while they were dining outside the exclusive venue.

Trinny revealed to podcaster Elizabeth Day in January this year: ‘I have been in a relationship for ten years, and whatever people choose to believe or read, I know I have been in love with the person I was in a relationship with, and I had good years in that relationship.

‘But I also know that I got to a stage where I knew I was not happy in it. And that’s a very tough thing. Because a relationship becomes familiar.’

She added: ‘Oddly, I never thought, ‘I’m scared to be on my own’. That’s something that didn’t occur to me at all. It was more, ‘Do I feel quite on my own in the relationship?’ And I did. I got to a stage where I felt on my own.

‘So then in the end it was about, “OK, I have the power to do what I want to do”. So I just then thought, “OK, I’m going to move on”. And it was difficult, because any change is difficult.’

Trinny is a successful businesswoman, having launched a popular beauty and skincare brand, Trinny London, said to be worth £180million.

Her products sell to 200 countries and this month released a book, titled Fearless which covers everything from money to addiction and IVF.

Trinny Woodall: Ruthless in her personal life

As the presenter of TV’s What Not To Wear, she was known for delivering ruthless home truths as she helped men and women find their new look.

And Trinny Woodall, 60, has revealed she is just as cutting in her personal life – as she says if people drain her energy, she will ‘let them go’.

Showing off her sense of style in a leopard-print suit on the cover of Woman & Home magazine, the entrepreneur and TV presenter said: ‘I’m ruthless when it comes to letting go of people from my life.

‘If people drain my energy, they have to go. Friends should bring each other energy.’

Last year, Ms Woodall split from her partner of a decade, art collector and Nigella Lawson’s ex-husband Charles Saatchi, 81.

Speaking about dating again, Ms Woodall said: ‘Being single in your 50s and 60s is interesting… Is there a difference between me saying I’m 59 and dating, and being 60 and dating? Not at all… it’s all about how we come across – 60 used to feel old, but now it’s like being 40.’

Ms Woodall was previously married to businessman Johnny Elichaoff from 1999 to 2009. He tragically took his own life in 2014. At the time of his death, the star was launching her beauty company Trinny London, which she has turned into a £180 million beauty empire.

Ms Woodall and Susannah Constantine became household names in 2001 as co-hosts of What Not To Wear, where they got a reputation for their straight-talking fashion advice.

Speaking about their relationship, Ms Woodall said: ‘Of all my friendships, ours is the most equal… It can be very intense and sometimes we needed a break, but we totally accept each other for who we are.’

It comes just days after she was the epitome of old-school glamour as she celebrated the opening of her flagship store.

Ms Woodall looked elegant as she donned a floor-length silver sequin dress with fringe detailing for the launch of her latest store named after herself earlier this month.

The businesswoman showed of her figure in the dazzling dress which she paired with silver platform sandals and simple silver bangles.

The star kept her brown locks loose and added a touch of glowy make-up to her ensemble.

She’s just as well known for her flawless, porcelain complexion as she is for whipping up culinary masterpieces in the kitchen.

And now Nigella Lawson has revealed the secret to her wrinkle-free skin at 64 – sleeping in a cold room with absolutely no central heating on.

The domestic goddess has an ‘immutable nighttime regime’, which involves a cleansing and skincare routine followed by a very chilly night’s sleep.

When asked the secrets to her ageless appearance by one of her followers on X, she revealed that every night she washes her face with a muslin and Temple Spa’s In the Beginning cleanser.

She said she then massages in Prickly Pear Seed Oil by skincare brand Victora Health, adding: ‘And no central heating in the bedroom!’

While it might be tempting to put on the central heating overnight during the colder months, dermatologists have warned that it could lead to severely dry skin.

Leading skincare experts have said one of the biggest causes of dry and flaky skin in the winter months is coming into contact with air, indoors and outdoors, that lacks humidity.

‘Central heating adds an extra level of stress to managing dry skin, which is especially problematic when you have a pre-existing skin disease such as psoriasis or eczema,’ Dr Adam Friedmann told Glamour magazine.

According to consultant dermatologist Dr Derrick Phillips, ‘Use of central heating over the winter months reduces indoor humidity by drying out the air as the temperature rises.’

He added: ‘This has a drying effect on the skin as it encourages loss moisture from the surface, leading to irritation and flare-ups of conditions like eczema, where the skin barrier is impaired.’

The use of humidifiers has grown in popularity as they add moisture to the air during the winter months and reduce skin and respiratory problems.

Stars including Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Kendall Jenner all use a humidifier at night as part of their beauty and health regimes.

Ms Lawson, who split from second husband Charles Saatchi in 2013, recently slammed the use of controversial weight loss drug Ozempic.

She said she has spent her whole life ‘trying to help people not to feel food is the enemy’ and is someone who ‘would prefer to think about what I add to my diet than what I remove.’

She told The Times: ‘I read something once where someone said, ‘I was on Ozempic and it was the first time I didn’t think about food all the time.

‘I thought, ‘I can’t imagine anything worse than that. I take great pleasure in thinking about food all of the time.’

Trinny Woodall, 60, shares her experience with extreme ageism and how she may come off as intimidating to men

Trinny Woodall has revealed the ageism she encountered while trying to set up her own business.

The TV presenter, 60, runs her own makeup and skincare brand called Trinny London which is worth a reported £50million.

But it wasn’t easy for the style expert to find funding for the business  when she first approached venture capitalists at 51.

Speaking to The Telegraph, she said: ‘They’d say, “‘We’re just worried, will you really be able to run the business in ten years’ time?” I was getting that when I was, like, 51.

‘That’s probably the most extreme ageism I’ve encountered. Even when we stopped doing TV in England, it wasn’t ageist, it was just ‘We’re bored with them. We want something new.’

Trinny is currently single and although feels she is ‘good on her own’, she doesn’t like being in a house by herself.

The journalist wondered if Trinny might intimdate a lot of men, to which she nodded in response.

She said: ‘A friend said to me, ‘Trinny you’re such a businesswoman, I think it can intimidate some men. I think for any woman who has been in a relationship for a long time, when you go on dates, there’s that thing of “Who am I on a date now?’ I’m sharing this because it’s what so many women go through.’

Trinny added she has ‘never been a good flirt’ and needs to work on her body language for future dates.

The star recently told how she was ‘dipping a toe’ back in the dating pool, following her split from Charles Saatchi.

In a video shared to her Instagram, Trinny and pal Chloé Dall’Olio were showing fans how to dress for a first date.

Trinny wrote in the caption: ‘If, like me, you’re tiptoeing into the dating pool this year and feeling a little out of your depth, don’t panic – @chloedallolio and I have cracked the code on date dressing for the woman you are today.’

The star went on the reveal she ‘hasn’t been on any dates yet’ as she finds it ‘really f***ing difficult’.
