She is usually pictured in achingly glamorous locations across the globe, but for her latest photoshoot, model Alexa Chung opted for somewhere entirely different – a rubbish-strewn alleyway in East London.
Despite the unsavoury surroundings, it was clearly a trip down memory lane for Alexa who, wearing an £820 black dress by designer Molly Goddard, posed with fellow Noughties It girl Agyness Deyn.
Pictured alongside discarded coffee cups and tissue papers, Alexa commented: ‘Nice to be reunited by the bog roll.’
The pair were outside the Bistrotheque restaurant in Bethnal Green to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their old stomping ground.

Last week it was reported that Alexa, 40, and her actor boyfriend Tom Sturridge, below, are due to tie the knot in a ‘classy and cool’ wedding this summer.
One can only hope she opts for a something a little more glamorous, locationwise, for the nuptials.
Love’s a bust for Lady Alice

Skincare guru Liz Earle didn’t have much luck on dating apps after divorcing husband No 2… because they didn’t believe it was really her!
‘I was blocked by one app for impersonating Liz Earle,’ the 60-year-old told Good Housekeeping.

There might be many benefits to starring in a film with your dad, but according to Ewan McGregor’s daughter Clara nothing quite matches getting free rein to dish out some cheek.
In Bleeding Love, Ewan, 53, and Clara, 28, play a fictional father and daughter. And when asked about her favourite moments, Clara said: ‘Being an a****** to him. I thought those scenes were fun to play because they were the furthest from me now, I think.’
Ironically, Clara appeared to level the same insult at her dad in real life in 2019, venting on social media after he left her mother Eve Mavrakis for actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Lady Lola Bute’s 25th birthday party last weekend appeared to be the event of the season, with Poppy Delevingne, Sienna Miller and Princess Olympia of Greece all trotting up to Scotland for the wild event.

Beer boss gets bitter
Brewdog beer founder James Watt is embroiled in a bureaucratic standoff over plans to open a new bar.
James has been pushing to open a £1 million venue as part of a new leisure complex in Durham for 18 months but issues with fire safety have halted progress.
James has accused the council of ‘staggering incompetence’, ‘epic ineptitude’ and ‘complete paralysis’.
However, it’s unlikely the stalemate will be resolved any time soon as the council tells me it’s a matter for the developers and the developers insist it’s the other way round. Typical!
