The 2024 AACTA Awards will kick off in Queensland on Saturday, with some of Australia’s biggest stars making an appearance. 

For the first time ever the Gold Coast has wrestled the prestigious awards away from Sydney in a three-year deal.

This year’s ‘Oscars of Australia’ will take place in Surfers Paradise at the Home of the Arts (HOTA), with iconic actresses Margot Robbie and Cate Blanchett set to attend.

The 13th edition of the awards will also see renowned American director and film producer Ron Howard make an appearance.
