Married At First Sight star Cassandra Allen has broken her silence on Tori’s infamous ‘food chain’ remark after their dinner party flare-up.
Cassandra, 29, left Tori, 27, infuriated during Wednesday night’s dinner party when she sided with Timothy Smith during a blazing row.
Tori fumed that Cassandra wasn’t at the ‘top of the food chain’ on the show and slammed the administration officer for picking a fight with her in shock scenes.
Speaking to camera behind Cassandra’s back, Tori seethed: ‘Small bites babe, don’t come for the top. There’s a f**king food chain here and you are not at the top. Shut up.’
Cassandra has now broken her silence on the now-infamous remark and admitted she had no idea that she had angered Tori so much until she watched the scenes.

She told Nine: ‘I’m really thankful for everyone’s kindness and support but I think Tori was just lashing out because she was feeling hurt.’
‘I didn’t see her private conversations till later and so I really was unaware that I had infuriated [Tori] that much,’ she added.
Cassandra also admitted it was ‘unnecessary’ for Tori to call her partner Tristan Black a ‘s***ty husband’ during her tirade when he wasn’t even involved in the tension.
Cassandra said of the comment: ‘That was so unnecessary, I was really unimpressed and Tristan is nothing but wonderful of course.’
However, she insisted she doesn’t have any ‘anger or animosity’ towards Tori after the tension and has a ‘lot of respect’ for her.
‘That was one of the only times I didn’t agree with her behaviour in the group,’ Cassandra explained.

‘I don’t think she’s a bad person I just think she’s on her own journey and I’m on mine.’
Cassandra said she didn’t speak to Tori following the dinner party and they only saw each other again at the next commitment ceremony, which will air on Sunday.
Tori came under fire from fans for her ‘food chain’ remark as viewers branded it as ’embarrassing’ and ‘classless’.
Fans were quick to take to X – formerly known as Twitter – to mock Tori for the ‘immature’ remark as they compared her to a high school student.
Likening her to infamous Mean Girls’ character Regina George, one fan said: ‘Tori thinking she’s top of the food chain at 28 years of age is proof that she peaked in high school.’
Another wrote: ‘I just love how cool and unflinching Cassandra was as Tori ranted about being at the top of the food chain chain,’ absolutely not phased in the slightest. She didn’t have to do much, just let Tori make an absolute fool of her herself…

‘Tori is actually disgusting with that food chain comment!! #MAFS #MAFSAU no wonder her and Jack are still together bit disgusting people,’ a third tweeted.
One compared her to ejected groom Collins as they joked: ‘On the MAFS food chain I would place Tori somewhere between Collins and the salad.’
A fifth said: ‘I’m waiting for Tori to let me know what makes her think she top of the food chain. Is it the fact that her man wears trousers that are two sizes too small, his manipulative or that his not attracted to her.
‘Tori saying there’s a ‘food chain’ there is so embarrassing… and her thinking she’s at the top is even more embarrassing…’ another said.
‘Tori’s immature at hell with ‘food chain’ comment,’ one argued.
‘You have zero class Tori. Top of the food chain, honestly. You’ve finished high school. Maybe not finished… but yeah,’ another added.
Tori had been fuming over how Cassandra had sided with Timothy after she accused him of looking ‘smug’ following his blazing fight with Jayden Eynaud.

Tim had become embroiled in a row with Jayden, who had criticised his relationship with Lucinda Light and accused him of making no effort.
A seething Tim, 51, said he didn’t want advice from a 27-year-old and punched the table in anger, fuming that Jayden had ‘nothing in life’.
Tori was left enraged by his comments towards Jayden and then accused Tim of looking ‘smug’ as he calmly chatted to the other couples after the fierce blow-up.
But siding with Tim, Cassandra insisted he hadn’t been doing anything to provoke Tori’s outburst, as she accused her of trying to stir up more drama.
Married At First Sight continues at 7pm on Sunday on Channel Nine.
