Carrie Underwood has broken her social media silence after her Donald Trump inauguration performance was hit by technical difficulties.
Tellingly, the 41-year-old country singer – who is set to be a judge on American Idol – took to her Instagram Story on Thursday and opted to not mention the performance at all in her first social media activity since the appearance.
The star promoted her upcoming concert as she shared a grab from it with the caption: ‘TOMORROW! Check out the #REFLECTION concert special on @hulu and #HuluOnDisneyPlus! #CUinVegas [gem emoji]’
Interestingly she set the post to the tune of her 2018 song Drinking Alone.
The country star was invited to sing America The Beautiful as President Donald Trump, 78, was sworn in for a second term in office on Monday.
Her decision to perform for the Republican was polarizing to say the least.
