The radio star, 45, shared grisly photos of the open wound to Instagram on Monday, explaining she had 'walked into the corner of a wall'.
An enormous gash had opened up on her head as a result, with Carrie describing the moment as a ' scene' due to all the blood.
'Walked into the corner of the wall over the break. Looked like a crime scene. Blood spurting from my head,' she wrote.
'Got it glued back together so I could go on holiday with my family the next day. Turns out I have hit a nerve. Healing terribly. And hurting.
'Also randomly had a lady drop her carry-on suitcase on my head. God, it hurt.'
