Carrie Bickmore drops major hint about Aussie star heading into the jungle on I’m A Celebrity

Carrie Bickmore has dropped a major hint about an Aussie star’s potential reality TV debut.

The radio star, 45, took to Instagram on Thursday to question whether her co-host Tommy Little was heading into the jungle on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

She posted a photo that showed the pair happily posing at what looked to be an Adelaide 500 Supercars event.

Captioning the post, Carrie reminded followers that she would be returning to the airwaves on The Carrie and Tommy Show on the Hit Network next week.

‘Back on air with this funny human Monday @carrieandtommyshow. Tune in from 3pm on @hitmusicaus,’ she captioned the post.

However, Carrie signed off her post with a telling hint that her rumoured love interest had been busy filming for the popular reality show.

‘I assume you are not in the jungle, @mrstommylittle,’ Carrie added.

Producers have already teased that this year’s cast will include a Hollywood sitcom star, an international supermodel, a rugby league Romeo and soap royalty, alongside a master chef, an AFL A-lister, a Logie-winning actor, a reality TV bad boy, a jungle princess, a stand-up comedian and a ’90s pop star.

The hints sent fans into a guessing meltdown, and when it came to the stand-up comedian, Tommy was at the top of the wish list alongside the likes of Sam Pang, Melanie Bracewell and Wil Anderson.

As anticipation around the cast of I’m A Celebrity reaches fever pitch before its Sunday premiere, the first contestant was revealed this week.

Former NRL and Bachelor star Luke Bateman confirmed on Wednesday morning that he will be joining the 2026 line-up.

‘In some very exciting news, I’ll be trading the Australian outback for the African jungle on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! which premieres this Sunday on Ten,’ he said.

Continuing, Luke said that he would be attempting to win the $100,000 prize money for rural charity Farm Angels.

‘I’ll be going into the jungle representing my charity, Farm Angels, which is a charity very close to my heart. They do amazing work in my community.’

Luke added that he could not wait to see what hosts Robert Irwin and Julia Morris had in store for this year’s crop of jungle celebrities.

‘I’m very excited to see what Robert and Julia have cooked up for me,’ he said.

‘I’m sure there’ll be some delectable food items and some fear-instilling trials. I can’t wait. I’ll see you all in the jungle.’

Luke rose to fame as an NRL star, playing for the Canberra Raiders from 2015 to 2019.

He parlayed his sporting success into reality TV fame, starring in the eleventh and final season of The Bachelor in 2023.

Dubbed The Bachelors, the show saw Luke star alongside fellow suitors Ben Waddell and Wesley Cortes.

He eventually declared his love for Ellie Rolfe and they remained the only couple still together after the final episode.

However, the romance proved to be short-lived, with Luke confirming he had split with Ellie in March 2024.

Luke made international headlines in June last year after signing a two-book deal with Atria Books Australia.

He has become quite the ‘BookTok’ star, with his @lukesreads page, where he reviews of risqué romance and fantasy novels, currently boasting 406,000 followers.

I’m A Celebrity premieres Sunday at 7pm on Channel 10
