Carrie Bickmore had an emotional moment on her Hit Network show Carrie & Tommy this week.
The 43-year-old had just suffered through a rough week, so her co-host Tommy Little decided to surprise her in the studio on Tuesday with a performance by one of her favourite singers, Raye.
‘Carrie had a crap week last week and we thought, instead of telling her that you’re going to be here, we could make it a surprise,’ Tommy said to Raye.
‘Hi Carrie, how are you doing? I just want to thank you for having great taste in music,’ Raye said.
Raye’s power ballad Ice Cream Man then started playing, which featured lyrics like, ‘I’m a very f***ing brave strong woman / And I’ll be damned if I let a man ruin / How I walk, how I talk, how I do it.’

At that moment, Carrie became visibly emotional and explained that Raye’s music had got her through some hard times.
‘It’s making me cry! It makes me absolutely so emotional when I’m having a s**t day – and there’s a lot of them. I’m like, “F**k you”,’ Bickmore sobbed.
It comes approximately a year after The Project star announced her split from husband Chris Walker after 11 years together.
The news came just one month after Bickmore hosted her last episode of Channel 10’s The Project, after stepping down because she wanted to spend more evenings at home with her family.
The 43-year-old wiped away tears after listening to a power ballad by pop star Raye
‘It’s with immense sadness that Chris and I have decided to separate,’ she wrote at the time.
‘While this is a tough time, our focus is on parenting, loving and supporting our three children with everything we’ve got.’
Bickmore has since sparked relationship rumours with her radio co-host Tommy Little.
Fans were begging the couple to confirm an alleged romance, especially after they enjoyed a trip to France together.

In June, they hosted their Hit FM radio show from the ‘City of Love’, which had fans convinced that they are romantically involved.
‘Can you guys just become a couple already? The chemistry between you two is out of this world and you can hear it on the radio,’ an Instagram user commented on a video of Tommy and Carrie exploring Paris.
‘They make a cute couple. I’m convinced there is a little tryst going on,’ another user wrote, while someone else added: ‘Can’t wait until the big secret comes out about you two.’
