Robert Carradine's daughter Ever has spoken out shortly after tragic details of his death at age 71 were confirmed this week.
The 51-year-old actress - who previously - got candid about going through 'one of the hardest weeks of my life' in a post shared to her Instagram stories on Saturday.

Ever held a small smile on her face in a selfie as she found comfort through a friend in the wake of her dad's passing.
In text added towards the bottom, she wrote: 'After one of the hardest weeks of my life, I went to see my friend @joannavargasnyc and she does what she always does took care of my heart and took a few years off my face.'

The late actor died at a hospital in Los Angeles and his death was caused by hanging which caused an anoxic brain injury, brought on by total oxygen deprivation.
Carradine's brother Keith and family confirmed the star's death on Monday in a statement to Deadline.

Keith added, 'We will take solace in how funny he could be, how wise and utterly accepting and tolerant he was. That's who my baby brother was'; seen in 2013 in NYC
'It is an illness that got the best of him, and I want to celebrate him for his struggle with it, and celebrate his beautiful soul. He was profoundly gifted, and we will miss him every day.'
Keith added, 'We will take solace in how funny he could be, how wise and utterly accepting and tolerant he was. That's who my baby brother was.'
Tributes poured in after news of his death came to light on Monday, with Ever taking to Instagram to share photos of her father from over the years.
She also reflected on his life with an emotional caption and expressed how the late actor was full of 'heart.'
'My dad died today,' Ever began. 'My sweet, funny dad, who's only 20 years older than I am, who never missed an opportunity to drive me to the airport or tell me how much he loved my homemade salad dressing, is gone.'

The Handmaid's Tale actress further recalled how he was always there for people, whether it be dinners or picking someone up at the airport.
'Whenever anyone asks me how I turned out so normal, I always tell them it's because of my dad,' she added.
'I knew my dad loved me, I knew it deep in my bones, and I always knew he had my back. I think it's partly because we basically grew up together.'

She also added that Carradine 'was a lover, not a fighter.'
'He was all heart, and in a world so full of conflict and division, I think we can all take a page out of his book today, open our hearts and feel and share the love.
'I have a thousand stories and I'm being flooded with memories - so if you see me, please ask me about my dad, Bobby Carradine, who made me who I am. Rest easy, dad. I love you the most.'
His Lizzie McGuire co-star Hilary Duff also paid tribute to the star.

Carradine had notably portrayed her on-screen father Sam McGuire in the hit Disney series which aired from 2001 through 2004.
'This one hurts,' she began in her emotional caption. 'It's really hard to face this reality about an old friend.
'There was so much warmth in the McGuire family and I always felt so cared for by my on-screen parents. I'll be forever grateful for that.'
She concluded with, 'I'm deeply sad to learn Bobby was suffering. My heart aches for him, his family, and everyone who loved him.'
Carradine's acting career began at an early age when he appeared in the 1972 film The Cowboys with John Wayne.

His final acting credit before his death had been the 2026 horror comedy titled Skate To Hell and he had additional projects in the works, according to his official IMDB page.
