Carol Vorderman has joined LBC radio to present a new Sunday programme.
The TV presenter, 63, was axed from her BBC Radio Wales show in November 2023 after she breached the broadcaster’s social media guidelines.
The former Countdown Star has claimed she will continue ‘to hold the corrupt to account’, after previously wowing to keep ‘calling out the disgusting Tories’ – after she was axed.
Carol has admitted that ‘she will carry on using her voice to cause a commotion’ in her upcoming weekend programme which airs January 14th from 4pm until 7pm.
She said: ‘I’m delighted to be joining LBC and the phenomenal stable of powerful voices on the station. More than ever, live radio is an incredibly important platform for news, so I’m looking forward to returning to a medium that I love.

‘And what a year 2024 is going to be for news and politics! On Sunday afternoon, I’ll be using my voice – as you might expect – to cause a commotion.
‘I won’t be shy to say things that others won’t and I’ll hold the corrupt to account without fear or favour.
‘And obviously I can’t wait to hear from the listeners – all of it, without apology or embarrassment; their worries, their joys, their ideas.
‘To quote Bob Dylan, ‘the times they are a-changin’ and I can’t wait to get started – bring it on!’
Carol has previously appeared as a guest presenter on LBC alongside Nick Ferrari, James O’Brien, Shelagh Fogarty, Andrew Marr, Tom Swarbrick, Iain Dale and Matt Frei.
LBC’s Managing Editor, Tom Cheal said: ‘Now more than ever, listeners want candid, intelligent debate where people are free to air their views openly.
‘LBC’s callers provide a unique insight into what people right across the country are thinking and feeling, and I’m delighted Carol will be debating the big issues with them each week.
‘Carol’s straight-talking and incisive opinion make her the perfect fit alongside what is already the UK’s best team of speech broadcasters, and I know she will help ensure LBC continues to lead the way as the home of the UK’s best opinion-led broadcasting.’

Carol, who was told to leave her BBC show over her anti-Conservative rants, had been accused of ‘flagrantly breaching’ the BBC’s impartiality rules with her online outbursts
Carol had been accused of ‘flagrantly breaching’ the BBC’s impartiality rules with her online outbursts, which have included calling ministers ‘a lying bunch of greedy, corrupt, destructive, hateful, divisive, gaslighting crooks’.
Announcing her departure last year, Carol admitted that she was ‘not prepared to stop’ venting her ‘strong beliefs’ on Twitter and Instagram, adding that she did not want ‘to lose my voice’ or ‘change who I am’.
The BBC brought in new social media rules for its presenters following outrage earlier this year over Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker’s tweet which compared the Government’s Rwanda refugee policy to Nazi Germany.
The new BBC guidelines prevent high-profile stars from attacking political parties and individual politicians as well as weighing into controversial issues before elections or referendums.
The rules apply when their show is on air and in a two-week window before and after.
The BBC at the time of her departure said: ‘Carol has been a presenter on BBC Radio Wales since 2018. We’d like to thank her for her work and contribution to the station over the past five years.’
Carol previously questioned if the Conservative Party is the ‘sleaziest in history’ and wrote on Twitter/X that the public is ‘ashamed’ about the Home Secretary’s recent remarks about homelessness.
Suella Braverman claimed on the social media platform that rough sleeping is sometimes a ‘lifestyle choice’ and called for and end to ‘pitching tents in public spaces’.

Carol quoted her post, saying: ‘What I want to stop, and what the law-abiding majority wants to stop, is your vile government clinging on to power for a day longer.
‘You don’t speak for us. Every week you debase democracy further. We’re ashamed of you. Go now.’
A Tory MP has previously called for the BBC to investigate her social media posts adding: ‘She makes Gary Lineker’s comments look quite mild.’
Carol’s new Sunday programme launches 14th January at 4pm, on LBC and Global Player
