It comes after Olivia shed light on the gender pay gap in the film industry, claiming it ‘shouldn’t be up for discussion’ anymore.
The actress gave her take on why men and women should be getting paid equally, in a recent podcast with the Radio Times.
She claimed that female-led movies like Barbie ‘get just as many bums on seats’ than male-directed films, leaving no reason for a pay gap.
Olivia, who has received four BAFTA Awards, two Emmy Awards and three gongs from the Golden Globes said: ‘There’ve been many fantastic female-centric films which have moved me.
‘And some of the biggest-grossing films, Barbie, Bridesmaids, Thelma & Louise, are led by women.
