She’s a model, £24m businessman and a mother-of-two but Caprice has revealed her life could have looked very different following a sliding doors moment in the 90s.
The stunner, 52, told the My Dirty Laundry Podcast that she nearly bagged herself a movie role which was given to Cameron Diaz in the end.
The part went on to put Cameron very much on the map in Hollywood when she was only aged 21 and became one of her most famous roles to date.
Caprice revealed that the role was as Tina Carlyle in 1994 movie The Mask, alongside Jim Carrey, who played the green-faced lead Stanley Ipkiss.
She said: ‘I was actually once up for the lead role in The Mask. It was Cameron Diaz and Angie Everhart up for it.
Caprice has revealed she nearly won the part of one of Cameron Diaz’s (right) most iconic movie roles- talking from her home on the My Dirty Laundry podcast
Caprice revealed that the role was as Tina Carlyle in 1994 movie The Mask, alongside Jim Carrey, (pictured) – she got two callbacks with Jim before Cameron bagged the role aged 24
She said: ‘I was actually once up for the lead role in The Mask. It was Cameron Diaz and Angie Everhart up for it’ (Angie pictured in the 90s)
‘I went to two callbacks with Jim Carrey to read with him. Nobody knew that. I forgot about that myself.’
But she said despite not getting the part, she has no ill-feelings towards the situation.
Caprice continued: ‘When I watched it in the cinema, I was like “Oh my gosh” but everything happens for a reason and I can’t complain because everything turned out great.’
‘There’s not a lot of crazy stability in the entertainment world, but I think because I realized that at such an early age when I was at the top and I started my By Caprice products and my property portfolios, all the things that actually make the real money.
‘People think I’m just a ditzy blonde but I use that to my advantage. Since 2024 hit, I’m just on an up, I’m on an upward slant right now. You know, I have By Caprice home launching at Macy’s.
‘We’re scaling to America, which is great. And then, you know, I just shot these two movies for America first. It’ll hit, it’ll definitely come to the UK for sure.
‘It’s so funny in the entertainment world because one year you’re up, the next year you’re down, then it’s a rollercoaster, you know?’

Caprice had huge success as a model and entrepeneur and is worth a huge £24million (pictured in the 90s)
And it looks like Caprice’s movie dreams didn’t end there because she’s now starring in an up and coming Christmas movie.
She said: ‘I’ve always wanted to do a Christmas movie and nobody was hiring me for whatever reason.
‘So I just thought, sod it. I’m gonna fricking do this myself. That’s what’s coming.’
