Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball 2025: Ed Sheeran Leads Star Line-Up

Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball is the UK’s biggest Christmas party – and every year A-list stars take to the stage to perform their biggest hits for a sold-out crowd.

It has been reported that Ed Sheeran, 34, and Louis Tomlinson, 33, are set to perform at London’s O2 Arena in just a few weeks’ time.

The pair are said to be part of a star-studded line-up, which will also include at least one international A-lister and a record-breaking group.

A source told The Sun: ‘Capital have been working hard all year to put together a Jingle Bell Ball for the ages, and it’s shaping up to be huge.

‘Ed Sheeran has been booked to play the Saturday, while Louis Tomlinson will also be on the bill. It’s set to be a huge weekend.’

Daily Mail has contacted Ed and Louis’ representatives for comment.

However, it’s not the first time Ed has performed at the annual bash.

The A Team hitmaker made his debut on the Jingle Bell Ball stage back in 2011, before returning in 2014, 2017 and 2021.

For this year’s show, Ed is expected to perform his biggest hits along with tracks from his latest album, Play.

Meanwhile, former One Direction star Louis will make his solo debut at the event.

He previously performed at the Jingle Bell Ball with his former bandmates in 2011 and 2012.

Louis’ new single Lemonade has become a firm favourite on Capital, and bosses are said to be keen to give him his moment to shine.

The Jingle Bell Ball is an annual December concert event organised by UK radio station Capital FM.

Since its debut in 2008, it has become one of the most highly anticipated pop music events in the UK, bringing together chart-topping artists for a two-night celebration at London’s iconic O2 Arena.

Over the years, the Jingle Bell Ball has featured some of the biggest names in pop music from around the world.

Artists such as Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, and girl band Little Mix have all graced the stage.
