During an Instagram Q&A, one of her nearly six million followers asked about the missing picture.

Candace explained, ‘I am soaking up the end of summer. I was having fun. It wasn’t about my bathing suit or my body.

‘But the comments became flooded with people discussing my body. It wasn’t worth it. I took it down.’

The mother-of-three has a history with body image struggles.

In a July episode of her eponymous podcast, she detailed developing an eating disorder as a young adult.

She rose to fame at just 11-years-old while starring as DJ Tanner on the late 80s sitcom Full House.

‘I had cheeks and I had thicker arms and I was, like, a normal 12-year-old, you know? I really was a normal 12-year-old, but I had a little bit more fat on me than other kids on TV,’ she noted in the episode, titled Why Can’t I Feel Free in My Body?.

‘I’m 49-years-old and I’m like, why do I think about this so much? Why does it even matter so much? It’s so ridiculous. And yet I’m still thinking about it,’ she lamented about feeling self-conscious about her figure.

On Wednesday Candace, an outspoken conservative and Christian, mourned the loss of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.

Kirk, 31, was shot dead during an engagement at Utah Valley University.

Disturbing footage recorded at the school’s Sorensen Center courtyard and circulated online show him speaking into a microphone before a shot rings out, puncturing him in the neck.

Reports noted he was in critical condition, and Candace took to Instagram to share a photo of the Turning Point USA co-founder which read: ‘Pray for Charlie.’

Candace captioned the image, ‘Jesus, we need a miracle for Charlie. Heal him ✝️ Lord.’

But within an hour, after he was reported deceased, she posted a second photo with the message, ‘We love you Charlie. Well done, good and faithful servant.’

Her caption was a string of three broken heart emojis.
