The former couple first got together in 2016 and the American pop star, 40, was said to be struck by the British actor’s ‘down to earth’ nature when the met by ‘fighting over a burger’ at a Golden Globes after party.
Apart from taking a brief break from their romance the following year, Katy and Orlando have outwardly been one of the strongest couple’s in Hollywood during their nine-year relationship.
During their time together, they got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2019 and welcomed their daughter Daisy, four, the next year. The couple did have a wedding date set but it was thwarted due to the Covid pandemic and they never married.
When they announced their split last month they said they would be prioritsing raising their little girl and would ‘continue to be seen together as a family’, after shifting their relationship over the past few months to focus on co-parenting.
So while the family holiday snaps come as no surprise after publicly announcing their plans to remain on friendly terms, it does beg the question of whether the two exes can find their way back to a romantic relationship.

Katy looked her best yet as she was spotted by the pool at the luxurious Cala di Volpe resort on the island wearing a tiny white bikini which showed off her fit physique.
The Firework songstress sported a triangle top with a pair of matching bottoms on the trip, showing her former fiancé what he was missing.
The mother of one wore her dark locks in a loose low bun and accessorised the look with a pair of cat-eye Prada sunglasses and silver earrings.
Meawhile, Orlando showed off his washboard stomach and rippling muscles in a pair of navy swimming shorts while applying his sun cream.
The star was given a helping hand by another member of the group, who could be seen applying the cream to his back.
The couple haven’t been shy about promoting the fact they are away on holiday together, with Orlando documenting the trip in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
One of the photos included a smiling family snap taken of the former couple on Jeff Bezos yacht with their daughter Daisy and Orlando’s son Flynn, 14, who he shares with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
Fans of the pair shared their excitement after spotting the photo and begged to know if Orlando and Katy would ever reunite in the future.

Sharing their thoughts about a potential reunion in the comments section, they said: ‘These two are amazing parents! Sometimes love and a family deserves a second chance!’; ‘Hope you and Katy get back together’;
‘I was so sad to hear you broke up. I hope it’s not true. Favourite couple’; ‘Omg mom and dad getting back together?’; ‘Family first man, always family first, I hope you keep your family together’; I hope my favourite couple stays together for a long time’;
‘Can someone explain to me if they got back together or if they just have a good relationship as parents?’; ‘He uploaded a photo with the queen, yes’;
‘Tell me you’re not breaking up and that it was all lies’; ‘Such a beautiful family. I admire your maturity and ability to put your kid’s needs first and still spend time as a family’.
In late June, it was revealed that Orlando and Katy officially called it quits after dating for nine years.
At the time, a source told Us Weekly: ‘Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,’ while also adding that the separation has been ‘not contentious’ thus far.
‘Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.’
The Teenage Dream hitmaker was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 until their divorce in 2012.

The insider further added that the reported breakup had been ‘a long time coming’ and that their relationship had also been ‘tense for months.’
In the wake of the separation, Orlando also flew to Venice to attend the star-studded nuptials between Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.
The actor was spotted mingling with a number of celebrities, including Kim Kardashian and Sydney Sweeney.
A separate source recently told DailyMail.com that Katy had been left hurt by Orlando’s actions.
‘It’s disappointing. It’s hurtful and annoying. If he’s going to behave like an acting-up adolescent, that’s on him. She’s going to continue to work and take care of Daisy.’
They added, ‘Katy knows that he’s free to do whatever the hell he wants to do, she hoped he’d do it a little more discreetly and thoughtfully. So she’s disappointed and sad.’
However, it appears the performer has brushed aside those feelings while joining her ex-fiance for the Italian getaway.

The Lifetimes Tour – which began a few months earlier in April – is set to conclude in Abu Dhabi on December 7.
