Chris Robshaw’s wife Camilla Kerslake has reportedly vowed to befriend his Strictly Come Dancing partner in a bid to avoid the infamous curse.
Strictly has seen the demise of many couples in the months after the glitzy lights dimmed in the famous ballroom since its debut in 2004.
But one woman doing everything she can to not let her relationship fall victim is former rugby player Chris’s wife Camilla.
The classical singer, who has been married to Chris since 2018, is said to have already invited his dance partner over for dinner amid her plans to strike up a friendship.
Camilla is said to be a girls’ girl and is keen to avoid any risk of herself and the the professional dancer, whose identity will be revealed at Saturday’s launch show, being pitted against each other.
‘She’s always been very vocal about women supporting each other and has already invited Chris’ partner over for dinner,’ a source told The Sun.

‘She wants to start building a friendship outside of the show in a bid to stop any gossiping around the curse.
‘Chris’s partner is totally on board, they have shared common ground and want to make sure they’re a unified group – rather than Camilla being on the outside.’
The source added that Chris thinks both women will form a bond and he will end up a ‘third wheel’.
Daily Mail has contacted Camilla’s representatives for comment.
It comes after Chris and Camilla’s family were harassed by a ‘violent’ female stalker who threatened to spread lies about them to the social services.
Chris is one of the 15 celebrities taking part in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, but it has since emerged he almost turned down the opportunity due to the situation.
She took to her social media give her fans an update as she explained they have been ‘focusing on family’ and they won’t let recent events ‘define’ them.
In a statement on Instagram, Camilla wrote: ‘Hi loves, I just want to say the biggest thank you for all your kind words and messages this week.

‘I don’t know about you, but I’m very ready for the sequins and spray tans to take centre stage.
‘Let’s hope it’s more snake hips and not hip replacement for our boy!

BBC bosses are now on high alert and have reassures Chris that ‘his safety, and his family’s safety, comes first.’
While the identity of the stalker has not been revealed, it is known that the former Harlequins captain briefly met her twice at work events last year.
Chris and opera singer Camilla have been married since 2018 and are parents to Wilding, five, and Hunter, 18 months.
While the ordeal has undoubtedly been hugely stressful for the family, it has also brought the couple closer together.
