The cashed-up buyer of Lisa Wilkinson and Peter FitzSimons’ palatial Sydney mansion has been revealed, after the couple sold the home for about $23million.
Nell Hutton, the CEO of Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB), splashed millions on the Cremorne house, named Ingleneuk, reported The Daily Telegraph on Thursday.
The harbourfront pad sat on the market for months as the couple struggled to find a buyer to pay $24.5 million, with it eventually being passed in at auction last month.
The head of institutional banking is then said to have put in an offer closer to the original asking price listed with BlackDiamondz agent Monika Tu a few months ago.
Lisa, 65, and Peter, 64, made a staggering profit of more than $20 million, as they first purchased the historic Cremorne residence in 1998 for $2.95 million.
Built in 1903 and restored to its full glory by the couple, the six–bedroom home sits on a sprawling 3,125 sqm block with sweeping harbour views, a tennis court, heated pool and manicured gardens.

They also snapped up two neighbouring blocks to return the estate to its original size and secure rare dual-frontage—making the property one of the Lower North Shore’s most prestigious addresses.
Over the years, Lisa and Peter have hosted a wealth of Aussie celebrities at the property, including Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Hugh Jackman and Nigella Lawson.
Nell, who has reportedly declined to comment on the sale of the five-bedroom, four-bathroom property, was appointed as CEO of WIB in October 2023.
She originally joined the company in February 2021 as the managing director of financial markets, following a 21-year stint at Goldman Sachs in London and Australia.
Nell earned a master of philosophy in finance and economics at Cambridge University and a bachelor of commerce at the University of Sydney.
It comes after reports emerged the couple have ‘downsized’ to a $16.5 million luxury penthouse in Mosman, just days after selling their Sydney mansion.
The power couple were revealed as the buyers of the lavish four-bedroom harbourside apartment, nicknamed ‘The Castle’, earlier this week.
The breathtaking and spacious unit occupies the entire top floor in a block of six, and features a private rooftop terrace and sweeping views of Sydney.

The property spans 530sqm of indoor and outdoor space and features heritage-protected sandstone.
Other features include a mixture of stunning heritage and contemporary architecture, an open rooftop bathtub, a teppanyaki barbecue and a hidden turret kitchenette.
It was previously owned by Susan and Mark Luby, ex–CEO of building products’ supplier Alesco Corp.
The huge price tag breaks the previous Mosman record for the sale of a private apartment, which was $14.1 million in 2022.
