Bruno Tonioli was reduced to tears during Thursday’s BGT live semi-finals as the dance group Phoenix Boys captured the nation’s hearts with their moving performance.
The seasoned talent show judge, 68, found it challenging to contain his emotions as the all-boy dance group delivered a heartfelt routine to John Farnham’s You’re The Voice.
Dressed in white, the 37 performers showcased their impeccable dancing skillsas they twirled, jumped and flipped their way across the Hammersmith Apollo stage.
Their message of ‘we are the voices of the future’ was so strong and powerful it moved Bruno to tears.
After their powerful routine came to an end, Bruno could not help but give endless praise as he dubbed the group ‘stunning’ and confessed they exceeded his expectations.

He said: ‘It felt like I was in heaven and surrounded by angels. That was so beautiful. So inspired. The choreography was superb. Your choreographer did a fantastic job.
‘I am so proud of you. I am speechless.’
Before the show announced the finalists, Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden joined Bruno and confessed that they believed they would make it to the end.
The group managed to make it to the top three through the public vote, but after a split decision from the judges they were sent home as their fate was left to ITV viewers.
Their poignant performance, managed to strike a chord with the entire nation as viewers flocked to X, formerly known as twitter, to share their thoughts.

The dance group were pushed straight through the semi finals after Bruno awarded them with a golden buzzer.
The troupe, primarily featuring incredible talent from the North West, wowed the judges with their very first performance earlier this month.
Bruno was especially moved as he confessed that the 37-strong group reminded him of his time dancing as a young boy.

In fact the judge was so emotional that he broke the golden buzzer after he slammed it with all his force.
When he took to the stage to congratulate the youngsters, he said: ‘I know how hard it is, what you do.
‘People don’t really understand how hard it is to succeed as a dancer. The work that goes into it, the passion. And you literally do it for nothing. You do it for love. And I felt that.’
He added: ‘What really touches people is when you perform from the heart. It’s the truth of your performance. That’s what remains in people’s mind.’
