Bruce Willis was spotted being driven around Los Angeles by a caretaker following his wife’s revelation he had been moved into a separate home.
The 70-year-old actor looked relaxed in the passenger seat of an SUV on Friday.
The Die Hard star was seen wearing a blue shirt over a white T-shirt and his fair skin and light eyes were protected from the sun with a billed cap and dark shades.
The actor’s wife, Emma Heming Willis, 47, revealed she had hired a full-time care team for the Emmy winner due to his frontotemporal dementia.
The condition affects Bruce’s ability to understand and express language.
Emma, who has been married to Bruce since 2009, revealed they had adapted the situation over time.
‘Bruce and I now have our own language, our own way to be with each other,” ‘ she told the UK newspaper The Times while promoting her book, The Unexpected Journey; Finding Strength, Hope and Yourself on the Caregiving Path.

‘It’s just about sitting with him, walking with him, listening to him as he tries to verbalize in his own language.’
The Sixth Sense star’s new home is near the one where Emma continues to live with their two daughters, Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11.
The proximity allows them to visit their dad often allowing them to play with their toys and enjoy family meals together.
‘You can see the tenderness of it,’ she told the publication.
‘The girls don’t need him to be this or do that. They have really adapted to his disease and they know how to move around him. It’s beautiful, but it’s hard for them. They miss him,’ she said.
Although she has received some criticism for her decision she maintained ‘it was the right move — for him, for our girls, for me,’ she explained.
‘Ultimately I could get back to being his wife. And that’s such a gift.’
Moving Bruce into his own home has ‘made such a difference for more friends and family to have their own experience with him without it being my home, without me hovering or my anxiety of how to manage the guest and their expectations, and then have to see their reactions,’ she explained.

Emma said having Bruce in a separate house also makes it easier for her kids to be kids at her house, because it’s not good for the actor to be around too much noise.
‘We have two young children, and it was just important that they had a home that supported their needs and that Bruce could have a place that supported his needs,’ she told People.
‘The kids can have playdates and sleepovers [again] and not have to walk around tiptoeing.’
Emma told the publication, moving Bruce to his own house has been difficult, but it’s been good for their daughters, Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11, who can visit him any time they want

Willis and his family announced his FTD diagnosis in February 2023, following a previous diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022.
‘Dementia plays out differently in everyone’s home and you have to do what’s right for your family dynamic and what’s right for your person,’ Emma told the outlet.
‘It’s heartbreaking to me. But this is how we were able to support our whole family, [and] it has opened up Bruce’s world.’
