Brooklyn Beckham Wishes Grandmother Happy Birthday Amid Family Feud

Brooklyn Beckham proved not all family ties have been severed as he shared a sweet birthday tribute to David’s mum Sandra on Thursday.

The son of David and Victoria, 26, took to his Instagram page to acknowledge the celebration despite his recent social media silence on his dad’s 50th milestone last month.

Sharing a throwback picture of him and Sandra, he captioned: ‘Happy birthday nanny xx love you so much.’

Brooklyn’s comment comes amid an ongoing family feud which escalated when he and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, snubbed David’s 50th birthday celebrations last month.

Sources suggested that Nicola ‘very much enjoys’ Brooklyn’s devotion and that this has been a key factor in the feud with his family.

‘He will do anything Nicola wants,’ one friend said. ‘And that has very much been a thing in the fallout.’

Brooklyn’s youngest brothers Cruz and Romeo also wished Sandra a happy birthday on their social media pages.

‘Happy birthday love you lots,’ wrote Romeo, 22, as he posed beaming next to her.

Meanwhile Cruz, 20, shared a heart-melting shot hugging Sandra and wrote: ‘Happy birthday @sandra_beckham49 I love you lots.’

Earlier in the day, Brooklyn typically had eyes for his lady only as he shared a loved up snap of his wife Nicola as he penned: ‘My absolute angel,’ and called her ‘his world’.

Nicola also shared an Instagram story as she posed for a blurry selfie with her husband, penning: ‘Summer love’. 

The gushing post comes after Brooklyn said that marrying Nicola was the ‘best decision ever’ after he was accused of being obsessed with her. 

And taking to Instagram on Monday, Brooklyn, 30, shared another gushing post about his wife as he marked five years since proposing to the billionaire heiress.

Brooklyn shared a mirror selfie of Nicola posing while wearing hair curlers as he stood beside her and kissed her neck.

‘It’s been 5 years since I asked this beautiful woman to marry me xx best decision ever x I love you so much ❤️,’ Brooklyn wrote.

Nicola also took to social media to mark the occasion, sharing a sweet kissing snap. 

She captioned the post: ‘5 years ago we got engaged. i love living life with you baby – i loveee you so muchhh [sic]’. 

The pair first met at Coachella music festival in 2017 but it wasn’t until two years later when they met again at a Halloween party hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio in Los Angeles that they fell for one another – and he proposed a year later. 

Recounting their love story in a gushing joint interview with the German edition of Glamour magazine earlier this month, 26-year-old Brooklyn was the picture of husbandly devotion as he looked at his wife and cooed: ‘[The party’s] where I fell in love with you.’

But, instead of returning the sentiment, the 30-year-old actress awkwardly giggled and replied through clenched teeth: ‘That’s true.’

Brushing off the apparent snub, Brooklyn touched her on the knee and insisted: ‘We’ve been inseparable ever since.’

The young couple have rarely been seen without one another since their lavish wedding in 2022. But many are reportedly beginning to question if this is through mutual adoration or because of ‘obsession’ from Brooklyn – and has sparked alarm among his family.

Those who know the aspiring chef and amateur photographer told the Mail he has a tendency to ‘fall head over heels in love’ with women very quickly. But even they were shocked at the speed that it happened with Nicola.

‘Brooklyn has had other girlfriends, some very long term, but we have never seen anything like Nicola before,’ a source close to him told the Mail. ‘This is pure infatuation.

‘They met and just a few months later he moved to the States to be with her. He wanted her to be the one.

‘He is absolutely besotted. They have barely spent a night apart since they have been together. It’s like he can’t imagine life without her – he will literally do anything she wants him to.’
