Brooklyn Beckham Shocks Fans with ‘Undercooked Dry’ Chicken Video

BROOKLYN Beckham uploaded a festive cookery video but fans and critics were divided over the outcome and were quick to call him out over some missing elements.

The 26-year-old left some of his fans horrified after he showcased cooking a chicken, with many slamming him for not using seasoning, gravy or brine, and undercooking it.

In the video, Brooklyn can be seen showing off the finished plate of food, which had some slices of chicken, some vegetables and some mashed potatoes.

Brooklyn captioned the video: “Beer brined chicken, mashed potatoes, and a side of @express,” with the latter referring to the brand of his clothing.

After showing off the plate of food, the video turns into a step-by-step tutorial which sees Brooklyn cooking up a storm.

But some fans were left criticising the finished meal.

“What sort of oven cooks a whole chicken in 45 minutes ?” asked one person in the comments section of the Instagram post.

A second wrote: “All look so boring.”

“What about the brine? No gravy?” asked a third.

“No gravy……” noted a fourth.

“Unseasoned,” declared a fifth.

“What are the seasoning?” asked a sixth.

But some fans were more complimentary.

One person penned: “I love your cooking videos, always achievable, versatile and tasty! Well done you! Keep at it!”

“Looks yummy, merry Christmas,” said another.

While a third wrote: “Delicious well done mate.”

And a fourth said: “Beautiful chicken roast – I like the step by step as I’m not a great cook but this looked delicious.”

Brooklyn started cooking up a storm online and taking cookery seriously around the time of the coronavirus pandemic.

His nan, Peggy, taught him to make an English Breakfast sandwich when he was young, which is what really sparked his interest in cooking.

While quarantining in 2020, Brooklyn would create cookery videos filmed by his wife.

His first cooking show, Cookin’ with Brooklyn, then launched on Instagram and Facebook in late 2021.
