Brooklyn Beckham Looks Like Dad Amid Family Feud After Ryder Cup Snap

Brooklyn Beckham is morphing into his dad according to fans as he played off in a Ryder Cup all-star match this week in New York.

The former model and estranged son of David and Victoria Beckham, 26, took to social media to share more snaps from his day out at Bethpage Black.

Beckham played for the Europe team alongside former basketball player Toni Kukoč as they competed against Eli Manning and Colin Jost from the USA team in the first round of the celebrity playoffs.

Posting on his official Instagram following the game, Brooklyn thanked Ryder Cup bosses for inviting him down for the match.

He penned: ‘Thank you for having me x what an amazing experience x I’ll be at the driving range for the next two years… @rydercupeurope @therydercup.’

Brooklyn also shared more pictures from the competition, including candid shots on the course as he prepared to take a swing.

Brooklyn’s fans were left stunned by how similar he looked to his dad David, as they flooded his comments with replies.

One follower said: ‘In the first picture, you look like your dad; you’re even his doppelgänger. In the blink of an eye, I felt happy, thinking that you might have overcome the family feud.’

A second posted: ‘Why do you look older then your dad lol?’

‘Growing more like your dad each day. Bet you miss him’, said a third.

While a fourth commented: ‘Look very much like your dad here.’

On Thursday David and Brooklyn looked strikingly alike with their identical rugged beards, while being on the other side of the world from each other.

David, 50, added another string to his creative bow as he attended the BOSS show in Milan after launching his second co-designed capsule collection with the brand.

Despite a humiliating moment, Brooklyn still said he was exited to be playing

Daily Mail previously told how Brooklyn suffered a humiliating moment during the game when he lost his golf ball after hitting it and had to start over after his team spent more than the allowed three minutes trying to find it.

Onlookers were heard shouting how ‘terrible’ he was and that he had ‘no talent’.

This wasn’t the only time Beckham appeared frustrated. Throughout the 11-hole game, he repeatedly hit the ball out of bounds and kept getting it stuck in the bunkers.

Following the game, he told Daily Mail: ‘I feel like they didn’t like me at all – but it was amazing.’

Brooklyn has not been pictured with his family since December last year, with sources previously telling how he is ‘no longer on speaking terms’ with his parents and siblings.

He also failed to acknowledge his brother Romeo as he celebrated his 23rd birthday this month and was noticeably absent from the family celebrations.

While at Bethpage Black, Brooklyn was asked how he copes with the talk about his personal and family life.

He said: ‘There’s always going to be people saying negative things but I have a very supportive wife.

‘Me and her [wife Nicola Peltz], we just do our thing, we just keep our heads down and work. And we’re happy.’

Brooklyn added: ‘Everyone is always going to say rubbish. I just try and do this, play some golf with some friends. It’s good fun.’
