Brooklyn Beckham threw his support behind an alternative form of detox therapy on Thursday, after making the shocking revalation that he’s eaten cod sperm.
David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest child, 25, took to his Instagram story to share a snap of his back as he underwent a session of the anicent Chinese body work technique of cupping therapy.
The bizarre-looking treatment is a form of alternative medicine, in which a local suction is created on the skin with the application of heated cups.
Cupping is said to help decrease pain and inflammation, increase blood flow, reduce stress and even help things like skin issues or cellulite.
The cups used can either be bamboo, glass, silicone or earthenware, and the treatment can be wet or dry.
Cupping usually leaves red, circular marks in the treated area, which usually heals in around 10 days, but can take up to a month to disappear.

Brooklyn tagged the business who performed the treatment, Detox By Rebecca, who own a spa in Beverly Hills and claim to be ‘the top choice for full-body treatments among the biggest names of Hollywood’.
Prices for the treatments on their website range between $350 (£284) and $400 £324).
He went on to post a black and white picture of what the top of his back looked like after the treatment, showcasing the slew of painful looking dark marks.
But it’s not the first time the aspiring chef has tried the alternative detox, as he first introduced his followers to the practice back in 2021.
His mother Victoria also gave cupping a go in 2010 and was spotted in the airport with her back covered in purple welts from the treatment.
A number of other famous faces have also given it a go, including Dwayne Johnson, Amanda Holden, and Anthony Joshua.
Justin Bieber, Gemma Collins and Jennifer Aniston have also undergone cupping treatments.
And Gwyneth Paltrow kicked off the wellness trend in the world of A-listers by showing up at the 2004 premiere of Anchorman with the same telltale cupping marks on her back.
Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all time, once showed up at the Olympic games sporting a back and shoulders full of circular marks.

Brooklyn’s post came after it was revealed that he was following in his dad’s footsteps, not by playing for England, but by eating cod sperm.
Adding a surprising twist to his culinary adventures, the 25-year-old self-proclaimed foodie has revealed it is one of the ‘strangest’ foods he has ever tried.
Appearing on Seth Meyers’ podcast Family Trips this week, the eldest son of Victoria and David Beckham admitted that he ‘doesn’t regret’ any of the foods he’s eaten.
Seth, 51, and his brother Josh Meyers, 49, giggled in agreement, with Seth saying ‘Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah’ and Josh adding: ‘That has to be toughest.’
But Brooklyn’s bizarre food desires do not stop there, as he also admitted he ‘really wants to try’ eating raw chicken next.
He told the brothers that there is a Japanese dish in Tokyo where the patrons eat the ‘clean and fresh’ raw meat, usually considered a risky delicacy.
‘They serve it to you like sashimi,’ he said.
On Thursday, ahead of his cupping treatment Brooklyn also shared a reel of himself getting busy in the kitchen as he whipped up homemade ‘Dubai chocolate’.
He has proved a dab hand at photography, cooking and football – now Brooklyn Beckham is following in his dad’s footsteps, not by playing for England, but by eating cod sperm

Like father like son, it seems that such adventurous eating runs in the Beckham family – because David has been a long-time fan of cod sperm, also known as cod milt, a delicacy in Japanese cuisine

He also showed off a package of meat he received from Alpine Butcher, while promoting his hot sauce brand.
Brooklyn also weighed in on his culinary influence within his marriage to Nicola Peltz Beckham, claiming he is the more adventurous eater of the two.
‘Usually, she isn’t a fan of those restaurants where they feed you one thing every 20 minutes,’ Brooklyn explained, recalling a surprise date night he planned at Vespertine, a three-star Michelin restaurant in Los Angeles.
But despite her initial hesitation and to the famous foodie’s delight, Nicola, 30, reportedly ‘absolutely’ loved the experience and has since embraced fine dining alongside her husband.
‘Now she likes to go to those restaurants with me,’ he said.

Frequently compared to pork brains, the dish has a soft, creamy texture, while its taste is said to be sweet.

In 2018, during a visit to his favourite Japanese restaurant in Singapore, the football legend enjoyed it so much that he even ordered it twice.
On another occasion, the father-of-four proudly posted about his gastronomic adventures, captioning one Instagram story with ‘sea beam sperm’, followed by another with ‘more sea bream sperm.’
In November 2017, he also posted similar pictures to his then 43.3 million Instagram followers, delighting in the ‘cod sperm’ and ‘fried cod sperm.’
It comes as just last month, Brooklyn added ‘wine influencer’ to his ever-evolving CV after trying his hand at cookery and photography.
In an Instagram video for auction house Sotheby’s, Brooklyn revealed his apparent passion for vintage wine.

The aspiring chef, who previously stated that his favourite wine is a £2,500 bottle of Petrus 1979 Pomerol, delved further into the topic with a wine specialist.
Speaking with Sotheby’s sommelier Lukas Dempsey, he revealed: ‘The more I collect wine, I only like to buy from [the] 2000s and above now.’
Backtracking on his previous declaration of loving 1979’s wine, Brooklyn added: ‘I think old wine — you don’t know what you’re going to get.
‘I mean, I do have some old bottles. One of my favourite years was actually the last time England won the World Cup in 1966 — Mouton [a vintage Bordeaux]. I love that year.’
The eldest Beckham child has enjoyed stints as a footballer, photographer, and, most recently, a chef – before this year launching his own hot sauce brand, Cloud 23.
