Speaking to the camera, she added: ‘When I found out I got the play I was like: ‘boom, fabulous… this is what I have been waiting for. Can’t wait. Then I kind of realised the touring aspect would mean I am away from home in the week.’
Kean replied: ‘I will enjoy time on my own!’
‘I bet you will,’ Brooke joked. ‘It’ll be like a holiday for you, while I am out here working trying to earn an honest living. You’re having a ball with Sky Sports.’
Keane said: ‘You’ve only been off for four years.’
Brooke replied: ‘I have been raising kids, are you joking me! Look at what beautiful kids we’ve got!’
Kean admitted it will be ‘difficult’ not having Brooke at home as much but it’s time for her to begin a ‘new chapter’.
He said: ‘I have not said it to her because I know it will make her feel a bit nervous about going… it is going to be difficult. I have got my sisters who live round the corner and Brooke’s mum and her stepdad so if I need to work or whatever.
‘We will just have to make it work. She had three years off once we had Mexx so I could see she was itching to get back into something.

‘Obviously it is time for this new chapter… Everything she does she does well so I am sure she’ll be absolutely fine.’
It come after Brooke revealed she used to have secret meet ups with Kean in Asda car park when they first stated dating as she didn’t want to be seen with him due to their age gap.
The soap star is four years older than her footballer partner Kean, 27, and he was just 19 when they met in 2016.
Speaking on the Learning As I Go podcast she said: ‘When I met him I was so cautious for so long, I was like, ‘No, I’m not going to go out with him, not going to go out with him.’
‘I got to the point where I was stopping myself being happy because of what other people might have thought.
‘It was just the thing that he was younger than me. I was like, ‘Oh my God, what are the girls going to think? He’s four years younger than me. I’m done being 19.’ Not that I would ever have known he was 19 when I first got with him. He is more mature than me.
‘But I think because I’d been hurt, like most young girls, you’re a bit more cautious.

‘We used to meet at Asda car park so that no one could see us. I used to have Maccies and he’d get a fruit bag, because he was training. He didn’t want to eat rubbish. We just used to sit and talk.
‘That’s what I loved, because he just got me. Now, seven years on we’ve got two children and we’re engaged.
‘I absolutely adore him and I could go as far as to say that I love him unconditionally. The dad that he is with my children – that’s a huge thing for me.’
She added: ‘I always say Kean was the best thing that ever happened to me. It sounds ridiculous, because there’s so much more that’s been the best thing that ever happened to me, but what I mean by that is when I met Kean my life changed and it was happy. Not that it wasn’t before, but I just remember there being a huge shift.
‘I adored him, not that I don’t now, and he adored me.’
Drama Queens airs Wednesdays at 9pm on ITVBe & ITVX.
