The actress, 33 - who is best known for playing Sophie Webster on the show - confirmed the news with her 917k followers on Instagram.
Brooke took on the role of Kevin (Michael Le Vell) and Sally Webster's () youngest daughter Sophie in 2004 and stayed on the programme until 2019.
Now, after seven years away from soap land, the mum-of-two has landed a new role on the rival soap.
Brooke shared some snaps of herself standing outside the welcome sign to Hollyoaks village with the caption: 'So excited to be joining the cast of Hollyoaks for such a powerful storyline!!
'I am so grateful for this opportunity to be back on screen playing a brand new character plus my family will be happy I’m back in a full time job Haha.'

Brooke's role on Coronation Street is arguably what she is most well-known for.
During her stint on Corrie, she had multiple breaks to take part in other projects, including a stage production called Be My Baby, and to take part in Dancing On Ice.
She went on maternity leave in 2019 to give birth to her first born Mexx, and then decided to not return to the soap.
Her first role since becoming a mum was Amy in the UK stage tour of The Syndicate in May last year.
Brooke is also a proud mum to Monroe SJ Bryan who she .
She shares her two sons with footballer Kean Bryan.
Brooke also starred in the ITV reality show Drama Queens back in 2024, which followed the lives of Corrie, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks stars during their day to day life.
