Shields has showed unwavering support when it comes to Rowan's career aspirations, and she appears to be actively encouraging her daughter's role on Next Gen NYC as well.
'She wants to go into broadcast journalism and news,' the proud mom told E! News in June of last year. 'She's been at different outlets. She's done their carpet stuff.'
