Brooke Boney teased fans on Wednesday after sharing a photo of herself wearing a gold ring on what appeared to be her wedding finger.
The Today show reporter, 36, took to Instagram on Wednesday to post a series of candid snaps – from photos taken at a dinner party, to a young baby and mirror selfies.
But the first image sent tongues wagging in the comments, as Brooke flashed a chunky gold band on her left ring finger.
‘So you got married, had a baby and celebrated dinner all in one day…..bloody legend you!’ one user joked.
‘The ring ??’ another fan pressed, which prompted Brooke to address any marriage speculation.

‘It’s the wrong hand bro. Chill,’ she replied. ‘Never posting a photo of me trying on a friend’s jewels again.’
Selfies taken in front of a mirror flip the image, so the newsreader is actually wearing the ring on her right finger despite appearing otherwise.
When she’s not reading the news for the breakfast show, Brooke is known for her cheeky sense of humour.
Last week, Brooke took to Instagram with a short video playing with two of her nieces.
At one point the youngest of the pair, a toddler, turns to her and tells her to ‘shut up’.

But instead of scolding the little tot a clearly amused Brooke tells her young niece: ‘Excuse me!’
Brooke then can be seen embracing her with a kiss, before continuing to her game.
‘It’s just so beautiful when they finally learn how to speak,’ Brooke jokingly wrote in the caption.
‘I think that is the best Aunty ‘excuse me’ I have ever heard,’ one delighted follower commented.
‘Love, love, love,’ added another, while one fan told Brooke to simply: ‘Enjoy’.
Brooke, who is a proud Gamilaroi woman from Musswellbrook in NSW, has five younger brothers and sisters.
It comes after Brooke revealed last year that she is freezing her eggs so she can have a child later in life.
The presenter opened up about the process during a segment on egg freezing on the Channel Nine breakfast show in July.
She shared a video while injecting herself during the process and explained it’s been ‘really empowering’.
‘I was doing it myself and I really, really didn’t like that process, so I enlisted the help of Ally Langdon , because she was one of the only people I was seeing each day, of course, coming into the Today Show studio,’ she said.
‘It’s something that you don’t think about until you’re in your 30s, and then you’re like, ‘If I’m going to do it, then I should probably look into that as soon as possible!”

Brooke went on to compare the process to a ‘insurance policy against regret’.
‘What it is is an insurance policy against regret, because you don’t want to get to 40-something and then go, ‘Oh, I should have frozen my eggs when I was 35,” she said.
Her co-host Karl Stefanovic jokingly responded: ‘Good on you, Brookey. Well we were in lockdown, there was nothing else to do! May as well!’
Brooke also recently made a surprising confession about her love life.
The Today show newsreader revealed in March her friends and colleagues have expressed disapproval of the unseemly men she dates.
Brooke recently made a surprising confession about her love life. She revealed in March her friends and colleagues have expressed disapproval of the unseemly men she dates
The Channel Nine presenter made the admission after reporting on Jennifer Aniston’s recent interview with U.S. talk show host Jimmy Fallon.
The Rumor Has It star, 54, was speaking about her long friendship with fellow actor Adam Sandler and the advice they had given each other over the years.
Jennifer said the funnyman’s advice to her mostly consists of him asking ‘what are you doing?’ whenever she dates somebody unsuitable.
As she wrapped up her 6am entertainment bulletin, Brooke said her friends often say the same thing to her when she starts dating someone.
‘To be fair, you know, my friends also sometimes say that to me…’ she said.
She then revealed her Today co-host Karl has been one of those concerned friends asking ‘what are you doing?’
‘I know you’ve said that a couple of times, Karlos,’ she laughed.
