Brittany Cartwright was spotted for the first time with her and her estranged husband Jax Taylor’s toddler son Cruz after filing for divorce this week.
The Vanderpump Rules alum, 35, stepped out for lunch with the three-year-old and her mother Sherri Cartwright on Wednesday in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Taylor, 45, was seen moving his belongings out of his and Brittany’s $1.9million Valley Village home.
After a six-month separation, Cartwright filed for divorce from Taylor — who she married in 2019 — on Tuesday, citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’
She served him with papers while shooting season two of their hit Bravo reality TV series The Valley, as reported by TMZ.
Court docs seen by DailyMail.com revealed that Cartwright is seeking primary legal and physical custody of Cruz but is open to visitation rights for Taylor, who recently left a mental health facility.

Despite the divorce drama, Cartwright looked in high spirits as she pushed Cruz down the sidewalk in a stroller with her mother by her side.
The busty brunette had on a low-cut black T-shirt and tight biker shorts styled with white slide sandals and designer shades.
She had a Louis Vuitton purse slung over one shoulder.
The Kentucky native’s wedding ring was noticeably missing from her left hand.
Cartwright has not been seen wearing the ring since June.
After lunch, the trio made their way back to Cartwright’s parked white Jeep.
Cruz had seemingly fallen asleep in his stroller during lunch.
As not to wake him, Cartwright carefully transported the toddler from his stroller to his car seat.
Sherri placed a kiss on the little boy’s forehead before Cartwright buckled him in.
A source dished to PEOPLE on Wednesday that Cartwright felt like filing for divorce was a ‘long time coming.’
She knew ‘she had to’ file for divorce ‘for the best interest of herself and her son.’
The reality TV star filed ‘in order to move forward and put a stop to this tumultuous cycle they’ve been living in,’ the insider continued.
‘There’s a lot that has transpired over the past few months that she could not look past. This decision wasn’t made lightly but she feels adamant that it was the right one.’

The source noted that Jax has ‘mixed emotions’ about the filing, but knows it’s ‘ultimately the right decision.’
The Vanderpump Rules star filed the divorce documents Tuesday after five years of marriage, as per legal documents seen by DailyMail.com.
She cited irreconcilable differences as her reason for ending the marriage.
Along with Brittany’s custody request, the docs also revealed that she is seeking to block the ability of the court to award either one of them with spousal support.
She cited their date of separation as January 24.
TMZ reported Wednesday that Cartwright served Taylor with divorce papers on camera as they filmed for The Valley on Tuesday.
A source close to the production claimed that the couple were shooting separately that day and that Cartwright was not present when a third party presented the divorce docs to Taylor.
After news of her filing broke, Cartwright took to Instagram to uploaded a glamorous portrait with a pointed message.

She captioned the post: ‘Getting my sparkle back.’
As for Taylor’s thoughts, a source told Page Six on Wednesday that the Michigan native ‘is 100 percent on board with moving forward with the divorce.’
‘He’s been checked out from the marriage for a long time now. He just wants to have an amicable co-parent relationship.’
Although the end of the marriage is ‘sad for them both because neither one of them envisioned that for themselves,’ the exes ‘were not a good match.’
The insider added that Brittany and Jax’s ‘vicious cycles needed to stop for the sake of their son.’
The couple’s early romance was chronicled on the Bravo series Vanderpump Rules and the breakdown of their marriage was captured on The Valley, with Cartwright revealing she had moved out their marital residence with Cruz.
‘A lot has happened with me and Jax,’ Brittany said in a confessional. ‘We were already having issues all summer long, but once the cameras stopped rolling, things just seemed like they were getting worse and worse and worse.
‘So about six weeks ago, I separated from Jax. I moved into an AirBnb with Cruz because Jax would not leave the house,’ she said on the finale.

‘I just hit this point where I just started noticing everything that he did to me,’ Brittany said. ‘It just hit me like a ton of bricks.’
Brittany said during their relationship that Jax cheated on her, disrespected her and humiliated her.
‘I have been through a lot of pain in this relationship,’ Brittany said. ‘I just can’t deal with it anymore.’
