Brittany Cartwright revealed on Tuesday that she and her estranged husband Jax Taylor have still not managed to finalize their divorce despite months of bitter sniping between the two.
During an appearance with host Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, the 36-year-old former Vanderpump Rules star explained why their divorce proceedings were still dragging out.
‘We both didn’t send in all of our stuff at the right time. It was a lot of stuff that happened,’ she admitted with a sheepish expression when Andy quizzed her.
‘So, October 15th is the new date, and it’s going to happen,’ she said firmly.
Brittany, who was seen making a savage remark about Jax’s manhood in the teaser for the upcoming reunion of The Valley, didn’t hold back about her ex in the brief segment.
She described the current state of her relationship with her 46-year-old ex as ‘horrible,’ and she said she had ‘no trust whatsoever’ in him.

Brittany went on to accuse Jax of barely caring for her son, claiming that Cruz had spent the night at his father’s house ‘maybe 10 times in the past year and a half, two years.’
However, she wasn’t heartbroken about Jax’s alleged lack of time with their son
‘So, [Cruz is] with me 24/7, which I love. I wouldn’t change it for anything,’ she said with a soft smile.
After it was revealed in a previous episode of The Vally that her ex had stopped paying his portion fo their mortgage, she was asked if he had restarted payments.
‘Nope. Absolutely not. Nope,’ Brittany replied.
She also claimed that the former bartender was no longer having regular therapy sessions.
That led Andy to ask if he was still sober, which Brittany was hesitant to speak openly about.
She suggested he was ‘sober from some things, but not from all things,’ but she left more details to wait until the reunion special was released, where the two apparently got into it about his sobriety.

Finally, she shared her delight at news that Jax was leaving The Valley. ‘I found out the night before, and I was like, that was a great decision… by everyone,’ she said with a smile, suggesting that it may not have been completely his decision
Elsewhere, Brittany claimed that a Valley segment in which Jax allegedly installed cameras to spy on her was all a ruse.
‘He never did that. That was a storyline for him. So, he lied about that,’ she claimed. ‘That never happened.’

Their tumultuous relationship was previously laid bare in a preview for The Valley’s upcoming reunion episode.
Now Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor are coming face to face again as they revisit season two of The Valley – and things get ugly.
Jax has since announced he is ‘stepping away’ from the upcoming third season, and perhaps that is for the best considering just how tense the conversation got in a sneak peek for the upcoming reunion.
‘I would not touch that dirty d**k with a 10 inch pole,’ Brittany insists.

Taylor rolled his eyes at a comment his ex made about losing her ‘sparkle’
But Jax fired back with a response that made host Andy Cohen grimace: ‘That’s not what you said four months ago.’
‘You knew we were filming whenever we did these things!’ Brittany insisted.
‘I’m not going to play a role, I’m not an actor!’ Jax hit back.
‘You dug right at me constantly. You made me literally lose my sparkle!’ Brittany hissed.
An exasperated Jax replied: ‘Not with the f**king sparkle.’
Jax and Brittany aren’t the only couple whose relationship has disintegrated on The Valley – so have Jesse Lally and Michelle Lally.
Their issues boiled to the surface during the reunion, with Jesse slamming his ex for allegedly seeking relationship advice from a single man during their marriage.
‘C’mon! A married woman with a child asking a single guy for advice about her husband? That’s wildly inappropriate!’ Jesse shot at his ex.

‘I would not touch that dirty d**k with a 10 inch pole,’ Brittany coldly insists. Her marriage to Jax crumbled on season one of The Valley

The explosive back and forth made host Andy Cohen grimace
‘Wildly inappropriate? You told our client that you wanted to eat her out!’ Michelle claimed.
Last season, Brittany and Jax’s marriage officially ended on camera.
The former couple were married in 2019 following a dramatic romance that began on Vanderpump Rules. They have son Cruz, four, together.
Fortunately for Brittany, she won’t be having to encounter Jax much longer on their show – he recently announced he will be ‘stepping away’ from season three.
He dropped the bombshell about his departure in a statement to US Weekly, saying, ‘After an incredibly challenging year and many honest conversations with my team and producers, I’ll be stepping away from the next season.’
‘Right now, my focus needs to be on my sobriety, my mental health, and coparenting. Taking this time is necessary for me to become the best version of myself — especially for our son, Cruz,’ he added.
On last week’s episode of The Valley, Cartwright accused her ex of drinking just days after he got out of rehab following a month-long stint in the facility.
A source close to production told DailyMail.com that Jax and Bravo had ‘mutual discussions’ and the network ‘respects and supports his decision.’

Michelle’s marriage with Jesse also crumbled on camera
During the most recent episode, Taylor visited Cartwright at her rental property for a discussion about establishing ‘boundaries’ while co-parenting their son Cruz.
However, their cordial sit-down quickly turned hostile as the estranged couple got into a shouting match.
Amid their custody battle, which has quickly turned bitter, Cartwright admitted she was having doubts about his sobriety in a confessional.
Taylor stunned viewers with a horrific insult directed at his estranged wife when he made a blunt confession about their crumbling marriage.
‘I think after Jax got out of the facility, it took him less than five days to go back to the bars and start partying again,’ Cartwright claimed.
‘It’s just so disappointing, like, he did not take anything seriously,’ she added.
