Britney Spears’ Sons Reunite with Jamie Lynn’s Daughters in Rare Photo

Britney Spears’ two sons Jayden and Sean had a surprise mini reunion with their teenage cousin – the daughters of the pop star’s sister Jamie Lynn. 

The 43-year-old songstress – who reportedly stepped back into the dating scene – has had a rocky relationship with her younger sister over the years but the siblings are now ‘doing better.’ 

The Baby One More Time hitmaker shares Sean, 20, and Jayden, 19, with ex-husband Kevin Federline – whom she was married to from 2004 until 2007. 

Jamie Lynn’s eldest Maddie, 17, took to her Instagram page on Thursday to share memorable snaps from her high school baseball game – and revealed she received support from Britney’s sons. 

In one image, she flashed a cheerful smile while sporting her team’s uniform and her cousins stood on either side of her. Maddie’s younger sister Ivey, seven, also joined in on the picture. 

The Zoey 101 alum shares Maddie with ex Casey Aldridge and Ivey with husband Jamie Watson. 

Britney and her sister Jamie Lynn were involved in a publicized feud beginning back in 2022 after the actress published her memoir Things I Should Have Said.

At one point in the book, the actress claimed that Britney once locked them both inside a room together while holding a knife. 

When the singer tied the knot with then-husband Sam Asghari that same year, Jamie Lynn was not in attendance. 

And in her own tell-all memoir The Woman In Me which was published in October 2023, Britney got candid about her relationship with Jamie Lynn. 

The performer had penned that her younger sibling did not offer much support during her 13-year conservatorship. 

While appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2023, Jamie Lynn reflected on her rocky relationship with the pop star. 

‘Yeah, I love her. Me and her throw down. The world’s seen that. I’ve learned to stop talking about it publicly, but you know what, family’s fight. Listen, we just do it better than most.’

She later added, ‘Me and her both have had a very complicated upbringing. We’ve had very complicated circumstances and we both had to deal with them in different ways. Sometimes we took it out on each other when perhaps we shouldn’t have.’

The star said, ‘I’ve never, ever… I’ve been the one person in her life – and she can say this – I’ve never taken anything from her, you know? I’ve been the one person in her life who’s always said, ‘I just want to be your sister.

‘We just had a really weird life so we can’t explain it to many people, but at the end of the road I know that that’s my family, I love them.’

Before Jamie Lynn’s appearance on the show, it was reported that Britney banned her sister from mentioning her name as they worked on fixing their fractured relationship.

A source told the Daily Mail at the time, ‘Britney banned Jamie Lynn from talking about her. She told her to, for once, make her money without feeling the need to use her sister’s name to get a contract.

‘For Jamie Lynn’s entire career, every show, every appearance, every interview is Britney, Britney, Britney. It’s just sad.’ 

But despite their ups and downs over the years, it was revealed earlier this month that Britney and Jamie Lynn are ‘doing better.’ 

‘Britney and Jamie Lynn are doing better, and they’re planning on getting together soon,’ an insider shared. 

‘The girls decided to keep their relationship problems out of the public eye. They FaceTime every few weeks, and Jamie Lynn is planning on visiting Britney next month in L.A.’

The source further expressed that, ‘They really love one another, but they can be hardheaded siblings.’ 

Along with reconciling with sister Jamie Lynn, Britney has also been bonding more with her two sons Sean and Jayden in recent months. 

Back in 2023, both of her children moved with their dad Kevin Federline to Hawaii – but late last year in December the singer was visited both her sons. 

She shared a clip while celebrating the Christmas holiday with Jayden while standing outside of what appeared to be a restaurant.

The pair stood side-by-side as they looked at the camera, and at one point, the singer planted a kiss on Jayden’s head.

In the caption of the post, Britney expressed her gratitude and excitement to have had the opportunity to be with her boys for the holiday.

She penned to her 42 million followers, ‘Best Christmas of my life!!! I haven’t seen my boys in 2 years!!!’

‘Tears of joy and literally in shock everyday koo koo crazy so in love and blessed!!! I’m speechless thank you Jesus!!!’

Britney and her youngest child seemingly had a blast on the holiday, although her other son didn’t make an appearance in the clip. 

A source told Daily Mail at the time that the singer was ‘blown away’ by the surprise visit from her children. 

‘Sean and Jayden surprised Britney on Christmas and she was absolutely blown away.’

The insider added, ‘Needless to say, she was a sobbing happy mess and couldn’t pull herself together because of how happy she was. It was so sweet.’

The reunion came shortly after a source informed Page Six earlier this month that the Toxic hitmaker is working towards ‘rebuilding’ her bond with Jayden and Sean Preston.

‘She and her sons are really focusing on rebuilding their bond,’ the insider stated, and added they are on the road to being ‘super close’ once again. ‘These things are a process in every family dynamic.’

While her sons enjoyed spending time with their cousins, Britney has been active on social media. 

She jumped to her main Instagram page on Thursday to share a sultry video of herself dancing in a very skimpy ensemble. 

The singer donned a black bodysuit which was made of sheer material and contained a deep plunging neckline on the front. 

As she showcased some dance moves for the camera, Britney added flower emojis over her cleavage and later donned a blue bikini top underneath.
