Britney Spears’ estranged sister Jamie Lynn Spears appeared to draw inspiration from her famous sibling in a recent Instagram post.
Jamie Lynn, 34, shared a number of new snaps on Wednesday, sporting a bright red top and long platinum blonde hair.
The look was reminiscent of her older sister’s, 44, appearance in the music video for her 2000 hit song Oops!…I Did It Again.
The songstress — who recently shared a scathing message seemingly directed at her family, after Jamie Lynn posted a holiday snap with her son Sean Preston — famously wore a red latex catsuit and long blonde hair in the video.
Jamie Lynn looked like the pop star’s twin in her latest post, as she posed for a number of photos and joked about wearing ‘tons of make.’Â
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Jamie Lynn and Britney for comment.

The Zoey 101 star captioned her post ‘good lighting+tons of make-up+pounds of fake hair really make a difference.’
She finalized her look with grey jeans and pearl earrings.
One snap showed her flashing a peace sign for the camera.
The post comes after Jamie Lynn shared a glimpse at her Christmas celebrations, which included Britney’s older son Preston, 20.Â
On December 25, she shared an Instagram carousel featuring a photo of Preston alongside her daughters, Maddie, 17, and Ivey, 7, her husband Jamie Watson, and her mom, Lynne, 70, celebrating the holidays at her Louisiana home.Â
The snaps also included the family posing in front of a large Christmas tree and opening presents.
Jamie Lynn also revealed that she gifted Maddie an ATV, nearly nine years after the teen was hospitalized in a coma after a serious ATV accident.
‘Merry CHRISTMAS,’Â Jamie Lynn wrote in the caption, along with a number of festive emojis.

The one family member that was missing from the celebrations was Britney, who took to Instagram three days later with a post that appeared to sarcastically reference her family’s gathering.
‘Merry late Christmas to my beautiful family who have never disrespected me, harmed me, ever done anything completely unacceptable or caused unbelievable trauma, the kind you can’t fix…,’ the singer wrote under an image of a decorated holiday tree.
‘To my dear sweet innocent family… so so sorry I was busy this Christmas but I will definitely show up and surprise you soon… I can’t wait.’
She then gave her niece Ivey a special shoutout, writing: ‘Hello, beautiful Ivy … I just want to hold you, my love.’
The …Baby One More Time hitmaker signed off, ‘Godspeed, friends.’
However, the mother-of-two was joined by her other son, 19-year-old Jayden, for the holidays.
‘Britney had a fun time celebrating Christmas with Jayden,’ a source told People about how the singer spent time with Jayden after recently reconnecting with her formerly estranged kids.
The insider added, ‘It’s been such a special holiday.’

Britney’s older son Sean reportedly had to stay in Louisiana due to a work obligation so he spent the holidays with his aunt’s family and his grandmother, per TMZ.
Britney has had a contentious relationship with her family members for years following her 13-year conservatorship that ended in November 2021.
She welcomed her sons during her brief marriage to Kevin Federline, which ended after three years in 2007.
In January 2022 the Grammy-winning recording artist publicly called out her sister after her memoir Things I Should Have Said became a bestseller.
Using an Instagram caption to air her grievances, the entertainer said, ‘The timing of your book was unbelievable Jamie Lynn.’
She reiterated that despite her family’s claims that they were unaware, her ‘whole family’ knew about the abuse of her former conservatorship.
Sarcastically, she went on to say, ‘Congrats best seller … I’m not surprised at all. The nerve of you to sell a book now and talk s**t but [you’re] f***ing lying.’
During her fight to be released from her conservatorship, Britney made a series of accusations against her dad.
She told a court at the time: ‘My dad and anyone involved in this conservatorship and my management who played a key role in punishing me, they should be in jail.’
Back in 2022, Jamie Lynn attempted to settle the animosity between her and her older sister with a plea that was shared to her Instagram Story.
She expressed that she desperately wanted to take care of their differences away from the public eye.

The performer’s plea came after an extended period of back-and-forth between the two siblings regarding their past treatment of each other.
Jamie Lynn began the message by telling her sister that they should speak one-on-one about their differences as opposed to airing out their troubles over social media.
‘Britney — Just call me, I have attempted many times to speak to you directly and handle this privately like sisters should, but you still choose to do everything on a public platform,’ she wrote.
The star went on to express that her sister’s assertions that they were estranged in the past were not true and she has attempted to act as a positive figure in her sibling’s life.
‘In the meantime, please stop continuing the narrative that I haven’t been there for you or that I’m making things up. I’m happy to share how many times I’ve reached out to you, supported you and tried to help you,’ she noted.
She wrote that the pair’s public feud was ’embarrassing and has to stop.’Â
