Britney Spears dropped an official promo for her anticipated memoir, The Woman In Me, on her main Instagram page on Tuesday – one week before the release of the book.
The Baby One More Time songstress, 41 – who revealed in an excerpt that she had gotten an abortion with Justin Timberlake – also sent gratitude to fans due to the memoir already taking the number one spot on Amazon.
The beginning of the video began with a sleek, white Mercedes driving through a windy road on a hill as the sun shone down brightly.
In a voiceover, Spears could be heard saying, ‘I’ll have a good book one day…a good mysterious book.’ A montage of the star throughout the years then began to play – from iconic performances to behind-the-scenes moments.
A man’s voice then asked, ‘When did you last feel free?’ with Britney responding with, ‘When I got to drive my car.’ The singer was notably pulled over earlier this month and ticketed for ‘driving without a license.’

In her memoir, Spears opens up about her 13-year conservatorship, relationship with her family, as well as fame.
In an excerpt obtained by People on Tuesday, the star revealed that she had gotten an abortion with Justin Timberlake.
The former couple previously dated from 1999 until their split in 2002. She later tied the knot with Kevin Federline – whom she shares sons Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden, 17, with. Their divorce was finalized in 2007.
The Mirrors hitmaker also shares two sons Silas, eight and Phineas, two, with wife and actress, Jessica Biel.
‘It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,’ she wrote.
‘He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young. I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby.’
Britney continued, ‘I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.’

She revealed that getting the abortion was ‘one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.’ Since the claims, social media users and fans have slammed Timberlake on Instagram.
It was also previously reported that Justin was ‘concerned’ about what Britney would include in the memoir in regards to their past relationship.
A source told Page Six, ‘He’s very curious what she’ll reveal from their relationship. It’s eating at him.’
In other excerpts from the memoir, also obtained by People, Spears also opened up about how her father, Jamie Spears, ‘controlled her body and her money.’
‘Feeling like you’re never good enough is a soul-crushing state of being for a child,’ the star wrote.
‘I’d been eyeballed so much growing up. I’d been looked up and down, had people telling me what they thought of my body, since I was a teenager. Shaving my head and acting out were my ways of pushing back.’
‘But under the conservatorship I was made to understand that those days were now over. I had to grow my hair out and get back into shape. I had to go to bed early and take whatever medication they told me to take.
‘If I thought getting criticized about my body in the press was bad, it hurt even more from my own father. He repeatedly told me I looked fat and that I was going to have to do something about it.’

‘I became a robot. But not just a robot – a sort of child-robot. I had been so infantilized that I was losing pieces of what made me feel like myself.’
In the book, she also details the reasoning behind the infamous moment she shaved her head in 2007 – which took place amid her divorce from Federline.
The Woman In Me officially hits shelves to anticipated fans and readers later this month on Tuesday, October 24.
