Britney Spears returned to Las Vegas over the holidays, five months after she was ‘slapped in the face’ by NBA star Victor Wembanyama’s security guard.
The Toxic hitmaker, 42, stayed in Sin City for a few days according to TMZ, though its unclear if that’s where she spent Christmas Day.
The pop superstar had a room at Resorts World and another at Aria according to the publication.
Spears was also seen in a video posted to social media, as she walked around the casino floor at The Wynn with a beer in her hand and a few security guards close to her.
The singer was at The Wynn to watch the show ‘Awakening’ and later had dinner at the hotel’s seafood restaurant, Lakeside.

While in Vegas she also took a tour of the new Fontainebleau property, checked out LIV club, and enjoyed a visit to their members-only club, Poodle Room.
In the online clip Britney wore a long-sleeve sparkling silver dress and brown boots, with her blonde hair cascading down in light curls.
Her return to the Entertainment Capital of the world came just a few months after a security guard slapped her when she tried to snap a photo with Wembanyama in July.
In a video from the incident Spears was seen approaching the NBA star as she arrived at Catch restaurant in the ARIA Hotel, Las Vegas, supported by her now-estranged husband Sam Asghari, 29 while Wembanyama, 19, was seen walking ahead with alleged attacker Damian Smith.
Britney ran up to Victor and exclaimed ‘sir, sir, sir!’ in a British accent before tapping him on the shoulder.
As she tapped the star on the left side, the guard, who did not turn around – was seen backhanding her – either hitting in the face or causing her hand to fly into her face, with the star crying out and her glasses knocked off the impact.
After the slap, an upset Britney was heard calling out in a British accent: ‘That’s America for you. F*** you all!’
The Las Vegas Police Department’s investigation into the incident found that Spears had actually been the one to hit herself in the face after the security guard protecting the French athlete pushed her hand off him.

Following the investigation no charges were filed against the security guard.
Wembanyama addressed the alleged attack at a press conference. He appeared to dismiss the pop star’s version of events, arguing she tried to grab him from behind which forced his team into action.
However Britney has rejected Wembanyama’s claim, sharing a statement on Instagram that explained she simply ‘tapped him on the shoulder.’
Spears said: ‘I simply tapped him on the shoulder. His security then back handed me in the face without looking back, in front of a crowd. Nearly knocking me down and causing my glasses off my face.’
She said she was speaking out because she felt it was ‘important to share this story and to urge people in the public eye to to set an example and treat all people with respect.’
A source close to the singer previously told DailyMail.com Spears ‘wants an apology,’ and that the guard’s actions were dangerous and ‘disgusting’.
‘What if this was a little kid? What if it were a handicapped person that tapped him on the shoulder for an autograph? He would be arrested and sentenced to prison time,’ the source said.
‘The security guard had no idea what was behind him he just swung. No one was running. No one was screaming. There was no commotion. There has been no action taken against the bodyguard.’
The source said that the security guard acted with excessive force.
‘They are being a bully. All they need to do is say we are sorry, and this will all go away. Be a classy organization.
‘Instead, they are trying to spin this by saying her hand hit her own face when it didn’t. He smacked her the video shows this.’
At the time Spears had been enjoying some down time at the Catch restaurant in the ARIA Hotel around 8:30 p.m. with now estranged husband Sam Asghari and two other people

Meanwhile the singer claimed that she approached Wembanyama after recognizing him at the hotel and ‘simply tapped him on the shoulder!’ wanting to ‘congratulate him on his success’
The source said Spears was shocked that there had not been an apology from the NBA star’s team.
‘All she wants is an apology and she has not gotten. Suck it up and apologize. Don’t try and turn this around to make Britney at fault.
‘That is disgusting… with everything she’s been through they are now going out on a limb to be like we are right, and this girl is wrong?’
Spears herself said she did not blame Wembanyama, but she felt she had been treated unfairly.
She wrote on Instagram that she did not want to claim she was a victim, but added: ‘I don’t feel like I have been treated as an equal person in this country.’
Wembanyama, a French basketball player, is considered one of the most promising new stars in the sport, and he was selected by the Spurs in the 2023 draft.
The 7ft 5in center was the first overall pick after spending the last few years playing professionally in France.
