Britney Spears is the focal point of a new line from the brand Welcome Skateboards, who launched a line of merchandise marketed around the pop stalwart Friday.
Images of the Grammy-winning singer, 42, and references to her material adorn a series of skateboards, T-shirts, hoodies, caps and bottles released by the company.
Among the musical references in the merchandise line are the phrases ‘I still believe’ from her 1999 single …Baby One More Time; ‘I’m not that innocent’ and ‘Give me a sign’ from her 2000 song Oops!… I Did It Again; and ‘Till the World Ends’ from the 2011 single of the same name.
It was not clear if Spears will be able to ride any of the skateboards in the near future, as she’s recovering from a May incident in which she injured her ankle as she performed cartwheels at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles.
Welcome Skateboards said Friday that it was ‘coming together’ with Spears ‘in a unique collaboration that highlights an unexpected but deeply rooted connection.’

‘This collection is more than an ode to our favorite pop star, it’s a celebration of a generational icon who has influenced music, fashion, and pop culture as a whole for decades, and the enduring resilience required to achieve that,’ the company said in a statement on Instagram in showing off the line of merchandise.
Welcome Skateboards said that ‘music is the backbone of our culture and it permeates everything we do creatively.’
The company said their ‘aesthetic ethos … has been about blending dark with light,’ such as ‘wild and intense imagery colored up in neons and pastels’ and ‘a punk song back to back with a pop ballad in a skate video.’
The company wrapped up its statement in saying that the line is ‘a testament to the way different subcultures that may seem at odds can coexist and enrich one another.’
Spears appears to have made some physical progress in her recovery from her aforementioned ankle injury, as she’s been seen in multiple clips dancing in her home in the months since.
In May, a source with the Chateau Marmont described to DailyMail.com the events that led to the pop star’s ankle injury.
‘Britney and her friend were in the hallway outside their room being loud and arguing,’ the source said. ‘Britney was also doing cartwheels up and down the hallway and then started screaming that she had hurt herself.’
Spears later posted images of her injury to social media, saying she’d been injured while ‘trying to do a leap.’

Spears has made multiple headlines amid a busy month, with a number of notable interactions with fellow celebrities.
On July 17, she took to the defense of actress Kate Beckinsale, 51, via social media, after the Underworld star faced criticism from trolls over clips she posted of herself dancing to blow off steam amid a series of personal tragedies she’s dealing with.
‘I adore Kate Beckinsale especially because she’s from London!!!’ Spears said. ‘I realized how incredibly cruel people were talking about her IG saying she needs more age appropriate content … she’s in her fifties and I thought it was pretty badass how she responded with a mini bow in her hair looking literally 4 years old!!!’
Spears on that day also addressed criticism from Ozzy Osbourne, 75, and daughter Kelly Osbourne, 39, who were critical on their podcast of her Instagram posts in which she dances.
Kelly said she felt ‘sorry’ for the songstress while Ozzy said, ‘You know, it’s sad, very, very sad.’
Spears said in response, ‘I’m gonna do a photoshoot with Kate and tell the Osbourne family who is the most boring family known to mankind to kindly f*** off!!!’

Spears also was involved in a series of interactions with singer Halsey, saying her phone had been hacked after a post critical of Halsey’s sampling of her 2000 song Lucky for a new single that has the same title.
Spears subsequently said, ‘Fake news!!! That was not me on my phone !!! I love Halsey and that’s why I deleted it!!!’
Halsey made clear she was fond of Spears, saying, ‘I love Britney!!!!’ and making clear that she considered her an inspiration to her.
‘I always have and always will you were the first person who ever made me realize what it means to feel inspired,’ Halsey said on social media. ‘And you continue to inspire me everyday.’
