British rocker Yungblud has teased in a new interview that he might soon be heading Down Under after love bombing Australia.

The 27-year-old hitmaker appeared on Triple J’s Drive with Abby and Tyrone on Monday and  told Aussie fans he ‘missed them’ before gushing over all the things he loved about Australia.

Yungblud’s list of things he wanted to ‘thank Australia for’ included Chicken Twisties chips, Chicken Salt seasoning, and Big M flavoured milk.

The rocker, who was last here in 2022, added he respected Australia ‘hard’, though Aussie fans missed out on Yungblud’s current world tour.

‘I miss your wonderful country. I want to be there all the time,’ Yungblud, real name Dominic Harrison said, before he gave a shout out to Queensland’s Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary – which he referred to as a bird sanctuary.

‘Shout out Melbourne for the vibes,’ he continued, adding that he always had a ‘mad night’ whenever he was Down Under.

He also told his Aussie fans he would ‘see them soon’.

A video of the interview, later shared on TikTok, sent fans into a frenzy of speculation over when the Memories singer would announce tour dates.

‘I’LL SEE YOU SOON??! said one Yungblud enthusiast, adding, ‘is this him [hinting] he’s doing a tour here?!!! PLEASE.’

‘He better announce dates soon, we already had to miss out on the self titled tour,’ said one TikTokker.

‘I missed him so much I flew to Vegas for [his latest] tour since he wasn’t coming to Australia,’ complained one fan.

Other fans commented on his quirky list of Aussie ‘loves’.

‘Chicken salt getting the recognition it deserves,’ joked one TikTokker.

‘Yay for Chicken Twisties,’ said another fan, while several were shocked that he name checked a Queensland bird sanctuary.

Yungblud, who has sold over 160,000 albums is set to begin his world tour in August in the US and includes 35 gigs.

It comes after Yungblud praised the quality of the Australian dental system for their quick repair work after he lost a tooth on stage in Melbourne back in 2022.

The performer appeared on The Project and told the hosts he was performing at a show in Melbourne when suddenly ‘my tooth fell out’.

The 11 Minutes singer applauded his tech team and the dentist who treated him for their professionalism and quick response.

‘I was on stage and my tooth fell out. My guitarist’s face – that was the funniest thing’ he recounted of the experience.

‘I was like “I got no tooth. Can we get me a dentist in the morning?” and there was one waiting for me at 8am,’ he said.

‘I just got that done at an Aussie dentist. I went straight from the club to the dentist. I hadn’t been to bed yet either. But I’m happy’ he said, showing off his newly fixed smile.

He summarised the experience by commending the Australian dental system with, “Aussie dentists, man!”

Yungblud was in Australian at the time as part of his Life On Mars world tour.
