Bristol Palin used Instagram to give her followers an update on her facial paralysis condition on Saturday.
The 35-year-old daughter of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin took to the platform to do an ‘ask me anything’ session, during which one fan inquired about her face.
‘How’s your face? Updates? Progress?’ the person asked before Palin shared a video taken on December 9.
‘If anyone’s wondering, today’s day 323 of my face being paralyzed,’ she stated at the beginning of the recording.
‘Not looking great,’ she said before removing her tortoiseshell aviator sunglasses to give viewers a clear look at her visage.
She then raised an eyebrow, demonstrating the asymmetry of her face as one side didn’t budge and explained, ‘Not a whole lot of movement.’

‘If anyone’s wondering, today’s day 323 of my face being paralyzed,’ she stated at the beginning of a video. ‘Not looking great’
Pointing to the right side of her face, she said, ‘This eye… I will eventually get Botox in it. It just gets so small when I smile or when I’m expressive at all.’
Misspeaking, she continued, ‘But today is day 223. It will be a year in January.’
The mother-of-three was dressed in a dark hooded sweatshirt and black North Face jacket while recording herself inside a vehicle.
She reasoned that the status of her face ‘could be worse, could be better,’ but ‘at least I’ve got cute sunglasses.’
Palin previously gave fans an update on Thanksgiving day, simply noting that she ‘still’ had a ‘crooked face.’
The media personality initially revealed her frozen face condition in January 2025.
And in mid July she posted photos of her lopsided mug and took questions from curious online fans.Â
She said to one social media follower, ‘I woke up and it was paralyzed, completely out of the blue – no warning, wasn’t sick, didn’t get the v@x, no recent Botox… just paralyzed.’Â
The star previously updated fans after 71 days of the facial paralysis condition
Palin spoke about her ongoing bout with facial paralysis in series of posts on her Instagram Stories in July. The media personality, who is the daughter of Alaskan politician Sarah Palin, first revealed the condition in January 2025
Another person asked how she was handling the situation on an emotional level, to which Palin replied, ‘I feel like I’m handling it well. I can’t look at pictures of myself right now.’
She estimated her face was ‘probably like 70% back to normal’ at the time.
In January 2025 the star said her doctor believed she has a case of Bell’s palsy — which is temporary paralysis or weakness of the facial muscles — as the tests she’d undergone had turned up ‘nothing.’
Just weeks later she said she’d seen very little improvement as the health crisis went past the three-week mark.
‘We’re on day 23 of this, which is absolutely insane,’ she said in February 2025. ‘Can’t move the left side of my face at all. It’s really hard to blink. I can’t blow out a candle. My sisters makes so much fun of me because I look crazy.’Â
In an attempt to correct the condition, she said she’d undergone acupuncture, massage therapy, oxygen chamber treatment and red light therapy, as well as cutting out ‘most of the processed foods’ in her diet.
