Bridgerton fans have gone wild after Nicole Coughlan and Luke Newton’s sweet reunion at the SAG Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday evening.
The couple, who played on screen lovers in series three of the hit Netflix drama, embraced in a hug on the red carpet after spotting each other before the awards.
As Luke, 32, was chatting with fans, one told him to look over his shoulder where Nicola, 38, was chatting with an interviewer.
Delighted to see the Irish actress, Luke then crept up on his co-star, waving in her face before they embraced in a tight hug and appeared to be complimenting each other’s looks.
Bridgerton’s third season, which has been branded the show’s raciest season yet, saw Luke and Nicola’s characters Colin and Penelope finally cement their romance.
And fans went wild as they shared their delight at the unexpected reunion as they gushed: ‘MY POLIN HEART’.

Nicola and Luke sent the internet alight after their characters enjoyed a six-minute explicit sex scene in the latest Bridgerton installment.
Last June fans descended into a frenzy as on-screen lovebirds Nicola and Luke reunited for a nostalgic trip to Galway.
In a clip posted to Netflix’s social media, the pair travelled to Nicola’s hometown in Ireland to soak up the sights, before reflecting on their time on the show.
During the clip, Nicola and Luke looked back at their three-season stint on the show and she fought back tears as she bid farewell to her focal season.
The clip began with Nicola showing Luke the stunning Galway landscape, with the actor saying: ‘The people have really welcomed me, I don’t know what I expected honestly.’

Asked about the message fans should take away from their relationship, Luke said: ‘There’s a message to it of discovering who you are but also you don’t have to do it on your own, someone can help you.;
Nicola added: ‘It’s life-changing, it’s going to have an impact on our lives forever, when we’re old and grey.’
It has also been revealed that series four of the hit drama will see Penelope settled into parenthood with the love of her life Colin.
A picture dropped on Valentine’s Day to tease the upcoming fourth season of the period romance revealed a ginger-haired baby cradled by Ms Coughlan, 38, after the couple’s first child was shown in the closing scenes of season three.
Reprising her role, Nicola, who recently confirmed her romance with the 25-year-old actor Jake Dunn, appeared in the usual regency dress with her red-haired wig in curls.
The fourth season won’t air until 2026 but will centre on the love story of Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, 36, and a new leading lady Sophie Baek.
