Married At First Sight bride Gia Fleur has

Speaking to Daily Mail while getting ready to film Sunday night's episode, the outspoken reality star, 36, shared a raw and unfiltered account of their messy break-up, their failed attempt to reconnect - and the moment she realised it was truly over.

She said she was brutally 'ghosted' after sending Scott, 33, a sexy lingerie photo just days before the reunion.

But the shocking revelation is just the latest twist in what has been one of the most explosive relationships of the season.

Gia and Scott's romance

Despite an early hiccup when Gia's family revealed she had a daughter before she could tell him herself, the pair pushed forward - forming a fast, intense bond that saw them labelled a 'golden couple' by fans.

Married At First Sight bride Gia Fleur, 36, has lifted the lid on the final, off-camera chapter of her relationship with Scott McCristal, 33

Their connection only deepened during the honeymoon, where they shared affection, flirtation and bold promises about their future.

At one stage, Scott even told Gia she was his 'soulmate' while she threw herself fully into the relationship, convinced she had found her match.

The couple went on to get matching tattoos during the experiment - a dramatic gesture that signalled just how serious things had become.

But behind closed doors, cracks were already beginning to show.

As the weeks progressed, their relationship became defined by power struggles, emotional tension and a growing disconnect in communication.

Scott later admitted he often felt unable to speak freely, revealing he was 'afraid' to voice his true feelings and felt pressure to say 'I love you' before he was ready.

Meanwhile, Gia's fiery personality and involvement in group drama placed further strain on the relationship.

Trust issues soon followed, with repeated arguments and emotional clashes pushing them further apart.

'Now I'm over it. I'm feeling good. I'm back to being myself,' she added.

'There's going to be a boy out there that's going to like me for who I am - as loud as I am, as drinking as I am, as swearing, all that.'

While she admitted Scott broke her heart, she was determined not to fuel further drama.

'I'm never going to talk too much shit on Scott. I don't want beef with him,' she said.

'But at the end of the day, I agree with us ending. We were just two different people and it never would've worked.

'I felt like I was never good enough for Scott. I was constantly overcompensating… I fell in love with him and he broke my heart.'

The candid interview also shed light on shifting alliances within the cast ahead of the reunion.

Gia revealed she had formed an unlikely friendship with former rival Bec Zacharia, with the pair bonding over their shared heartbreak.

'Bec and I were both heartbroken at the same time. We went through the same experience and we've been talking every day since then. I love her,' she said.

However, not all tensions have eased.

'I don't like Alissa Fay and I don't want to sit near her,' Gia added.

'She was really mouthy at the last dinner party for no reason. I wrote her a pretty mean message… and that's where I've left it.'

As she prepared to face her co-stars once again, Gia was determined to embrace the chaos - and enjoy every moment.

'I'm excited. I've got all my friends back. It's going to be a good night,' she said.

'We're going to have a few drinks… probably launch at some people, because that's what we do.'

And despite everything, she insisted her experience was real.

'I'm not embarrassed that I fell in love on TV. It just didn't work out. No tears. I'm fine. I'm happy with it,' she said.
