The episode saw host Claudia Winkleman guide the contestants through a vote on who they wanted to send home.
However, the instalment finished on a cliffhanger, with Brian and Ash both getting six votes each in the vote, while Diane got three.
This means that if Anthony, who is still left to vote, chooses Ash or Brian, that person goes, but if he chooses Diane, Ash or Brian’s fate will be decided by chance.
Elsewhere in the episode, The Traitors viewers were left completely floored when Diane revealed that Ross is her son.

Speaking to camera, Ross confessed that he thought it was going to be difficult to conceal their family connection as he addressed the bombshell reveal
The duo entered the contest separately and have not revealed their connection to their co-stars, but viewers were clued in on the huge secret in the third episode.
The unexpected revelation came after Zack shared his theory that Paul – who is a secret Traitor – is Diane’s son.
But Diane, 63, denied his theory and laughed it off, before telling viewers that she did in fact have a son on the show, but it was Ross, 28, rather than Paul.
The bombshell came after Game Of Thrones star Kerr Logan revealed that Diane is his mother as he took to Instagram to share his shock at her casting.
He also hinted that his brother may be on the show as he responded to a fan’s comment amid speculation about Diane and Paul before the true bombshell aired.
Reacting to the unexpected family link, viewers took to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their complete surprise.
One person wrote: ‘Ross and Diane hiding their mother son status from the rest of the group!’
While someone else shared: ‘Diane and Ross oh my LORD.’

Another astounded viewer posted: ‘What. Ross is her son. I don’t believe it.’
‘It’s very hard for Ross not to accidentally call Diane mum,’ predicted someone else.
One other viewer wrote: ‘Assuming they want to keep it a secret throughout, what price would you put on Ross slipping up at some point and calling Diane ‘Mum’? Could be a game changer.’
‘Thought some were related but wasn’t expecting that,’ wrote another viewer, while someone else shared: ‘Obsessed with Diane’s camp plot twist.’
Someone else wrote: ‘Wait omg literally no one knows ross is Diane’s son?’
While another person joked: ‘Give her a BAFTA right NOW for this!!’
The shocking scenes saw Paul tell Diane that Zack thought they were related, with the pair sharing a laugh over the speculation.
However speaking to camera, Diane shared: ‘I can’t believe that it was suggested that Paul is my son. He’s three times taller than me, he’s got red hair, Paul just couldn’t be my son! But Ross is.’
Scenes then reflected back on Ross telling his co-stars that his mother had put him up for the show in the first episode, bringing new relevance to his remarks.
On the train, as the 22 contestants all travelled to the Scottish castle, Ross shared: ‘Funnily enough, my mum put me up for it actually.’
He was also seen secretly chatting to his mother Diane on the train before the other contestants arrived in previously unaired scenes, as they plotted about how to keep their connection a secret.
Ross said: ‘Do you know what’s going to be the hardest thing? I’m going to have to call you Diane.’

Speaking to camera, Ross confessed that he thought it was going to be difficult to conceal their family connection as he addressed the bombshell reveal.
‘I thought I was going to be slipping up all the time to be honest with you. We’re a team at the end of the day, we’re going to divide and conquer,’ he said.
‘We’ve got the competitiveness and the drive or one of us to win it. If one of us wins it, we both win it. We’re going to keep the relationship secret.’
Previously aired scenes also flashed up to remind viewers of how Diane had advised Ross on who to vote for, hinting at their teamwork in a bid to win the prize fund.
‘I think you need to be very careful about voting for people that other people are OK with, because then you’ll be challenged,’ she told him.
Diane was then seen speaking to Zack about his theory that Paul was her son, while Ross was standing next to him.
Diane cryptically said: ‘You think that my son’s in this game?’ with Ross looking uneasy between them both.
Zack then said: ‘I think that you and Paul look a little bit alike!’ prompting Ross and Diane to descend into fits of laughter.

It is not the first time there has been a secret connection on the show, as last year, Alex Gray and Tom Elderfield hid the fact they were a couple
Zack explained that because she and Paul are both ginger, he thought they might be related, with Diane then clarifying that she dyes her hair.
The mother-son duo have been successful so far in concealing their connection from their fellow contestants.

Diane’s link to Ross comes after another of her surprising family connections was revealed as Game Of Thrones actor Kerr Logan confirmed that she was his mother.
Kerr, 35, posted an official snap of her from the show before the debut episode aired and shared his excitement about her appearance on the programme.
He wrote: ‘My mother is on the traitors. My mother is on the traitors. My mother is on the traitors. She’s bonkers. I’m scared.’
Kerr – who starred as Matthos Seaworth, son of Ser Davos, in the HBO adventure series – claimed he only found out his mother would be on the show when the cast was officially revealed just days before the series kicked off.
Posting the official group cast shot, he wrote: ‘How is one supposed to react when immediate family of yours is in this picture and you’ve only just found out along with the rest of the UK?’
To which Diane cheekily commented: ‘I would say, Wow, that’s absolutely amazing!!!’
Fans were quick to respond with jokes that his brother was on the show, amid Zack’s speculation about Paul – with Kerr hinting at Ross’ true identity in response.
One fan wrote: ‘And your brother too’, prompting Kerr to hint that he wasn’t far off the mark as he replied: ‘Shhhhh…’.

The Traitors sees 22 strangers are playing the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning up to £120,000.
In the show, the majority of contestants are Faithfuls and must work out who amongst them are Traitors – who have the opportunity to ‘murder’ a fellow contestant each night.
The group has daily ‘banishments’ in which they must vote to kick out who they think is a Traitor, all while working together on challenges to raise money for the prize fund.
In addition, the contestants compete in various ‘missions’, which up until now have had the aim of increasing the prize pot, but this year, can also see the group win ‘shields’ guarding them from murder for one day.
