Brianna Chickenfry admitted that she has been using a nickname in place of her last name and got candid about why it stuck with her over time.

The influencer, 25 — who recently split from country star Zach Bryan — said she once had a Vine go viral in which she compared her legs to Burger King’s Chicken Fries. As her rise to fame came from the salty side dish, she decided to use ‘Chickenfry’ as her last name.

On Thursday, she revealed that her real name is Brianna LaPaglia in an interview with podcaster Joe Vulpis.

‘I made a Vine where I thought my leg looked like a Burger King Chicken Fry, and then it went viral and I’m like, “I’m gonna stick with the Chickenfry name,”‘ she said.

Her video even got the attention of Barstool — a sports & pop culture blog who later hired the blonde beauty as an intern.

‘Barstool DM’d me one day…they DM’d me to come into New York and I went into the office. I got drunk before cause I was so nervous. And they gave me an internship while I was at school,’ she added.

After getting a taste of fame, she dropped out of Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio where she was a NCAA D3 student-athlete on the swimming and diving team.

She currently hosts two podcasts for Barstool, BFFs and PlanBri Uncut. 

Brianna’s name revelation comes after her very public breakup from Grammy-winning singer Zach Bryan.

The Pink Skies hitmaker, 28, confirmed his split from the model on his Instagram stories on Tuesday after one year of dating — leaving her ‘completely blindsided.’

He thanked her for loving him ‘unconditionally’ while also explaining to his followers that he has had an ‘incredibly hard year personally.’

Just hours after his post, Brianna uploaded an emotional video to YouTube where she broke her silence on the breakup — labeling the situation as ‘heartbreaking.’

The Japanese-born vocalist has also been slammed by fans over the separation amid claims he is already on the celebrity dating app called Raya. 

In July of last year, Brianna confirmed that she was ‘hanging out’ with Zach as she publicly responded to mounting romance speculation.

The Barstool star addressed the rumors during an episode of her PlanBri Uncut podcast.

While talking to her co-host, Grace, the media personality stated, ‘I think I might have some stuff to address. I’ve been hanging out with a guy named Zach.’

She then clarified that he was Zach Bryan and that the two have been seeing each other for ‘three weeks.’

During the clip, she admitted that although the red carpet wasn’t exactly her most favorite experience, ‘…the whole reason I was here…Zach Bryan.’
