Brad Pitt and George Clooney have reportedly signed on to reprise their roles for a new Ocean’s Eleven franchise film — Ocean’s 14.
Aside from their new thriller comedy Wolfs, the actors and longtime friends last starred opposite one another in the 2007 crime comedy Ocean’s Thirteen.
A report by Deadline from Thursday reveals that the pair may be appearing on the silver screen together again 17 years after the release of their last movie.
The outlet reported that Pitt — who went public with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon in Venice last weekend amid his acrimonious divorce battle against his ex, Angelina Jolie — and Clooney, 63, are currently in the process of trying to get Edward Berger to sign on as the director of the movie.
Although the project is in very early stages and nothing is confirmed yet, Deadline also theorized that other franchise stars — including Matt Damon, Julia Roberts and Casey Affleck — may also be returning and joining Pitt, 60, and Clooney.

Nearly a year ago, Clooney revealed the franchise’s future plans as he opened up about a script in development for a forthcoming movie.
Now, it is rumored that Clooney and Pitt are in the process of courting Berger to helm Ocean’s 14.
Berger is an emerging filmmaker, who directed the four-time Oscar-winning, 2022 war action movie All Quiet on the Western Front.
Warner Bros and Smokehouse have reportedly been working diligently on the franchise follow-up film, which would be the first without director Steven Soderbergh.
In December 2023, Clooney told Uproxx that the upcoming movie had a strong script.
He teased that it might not be an exact continuation of the previous movies in the franchise and compared the script to the 1979 movie Going In Style.
‘We have a really good script for another Oceans now, so we may end up doing another one,’ he said. ‘It’s actually a great script.’
He also reacted to rumors that Barbie stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling were cast for the prequel movie and will be playing his character Danny Ocean’s parents.
On the casting, Clooney previously stated: ‘Margot Robbie’s my mother? I’ve always thought that.’
