Bow Wow faced criticism online after saying that he hoped Olivia Sky, who is mother to his son Stone, would get struck by a Mack Truck.
The 36-year-old rapper, whose full name is Shad Gregory Moss, wrote, ‘I WISH MY BABY MOTHER GOT RAN OVER BY A MACK TRUCK’ in an Instagram Stories post, according to The Shade Room. He later deleted the post.
The Columbus, Ohio native is father to Stone with Sky, 30, as they welcomed their son in 2020; as well as daughter Shai, 12, with ex-girlfriend Joie Chavis, 35.
The Shortie Like Mine rapper referred to his other child’s mother in his post, ‘NOT JOIE THE BUM B**** YALL DONT [KNOW].’
The Let Me Hold You performer waited around two months to tell the public that he and Sky had welcomed a baby, writing in an Instagram post of the then-baby, ‘Man you gone take all the girls.’

In the comment thread of the Instagram post from Bow Wow, he made reference to Byron, the cinematic character he played in the 2011 movie Madea’s Big Happy Family.
Bow Wow wrote ‘BYRON IN REAL LIFE!’ in an art-imitates-life reference to his character, whose ex-girlfriend Sabrina (Teyana Taylor) spent child support money earmarked for their son on herself.
The Bounce with Me artist was slammed in the comment section of the thread on The Shade Room, with many taking the musical artist to task for the unkind words about the mother of his one of his children.
‘Thinking it is crazy,’ one user said. ‘Posting it for millions of people to see is even crazier.’
Said another, ‘That’s disgusting and very ignorant thing to say about the mother to your kid!!’
One user pointed out Bow Wow’s past words about his other child’s mother.
‘You used to diss Joie the same way, before we knew her, grow up lil puppy! We’re not supporting no Waste man this year!’ the user said.
One user said it was poor form, and self-destructive, for Bow Wow to publicly say that about Sky.
