The Rome performance marked the eleventh stop of the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra world tour, and highlighted the initiative's expanding role as a platform for international cultural exchange.
The music-focused venture has enabled Saudi artists to connect with global audiences while showcasing the Kingdom's evolving musical identity.
Conducted by Maestro Marcello Rota, the evening drew a high-profile guest list including former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, ballet star Roberto Bolle, and 's Minister of Culture Alessandro Giuli.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, the concert brought together more than 32 musicians from the Saudi National Orchestra and Choir alongside 30 performers from the Fontane di Roma Youth Orchestra.
Traditional Saudi performing arts were woven throughout the programme, with 55 performers presenting showcases including Ardah Wadi Al-Dawasir, Al-Khatwa and Yanbaawi in collaboration with the Theater and Performing Arts Commission.
Set against one of Rome's most iconic landmarks, the performances captivated the audience by blending the two cultures into a striking visual and musical experience.

A standout moment of the night was the debut of 'Al-Hijr and Rome,' a powerful new composition exploring the deep historical and cultural ties between Saudi Arabia and Italy.
Written by Saudi academic and historian Dr. Suleiman Al-Theeb, a specialist in ancient Arabian civilisations, the piece traced a dialogue between the two countries through centuries of shared exchange.
Paul Pacifico, CEO of The Saudi Music Commission, said of the collaboration: 'By bringing Saudi musicians together with renowned Italian artists and the Fontane di Roma Youth Orchestra on one of the world's most historic stages, we are sharing our musical heritage with new audiences on one hand and building lasting creative partnerships that will shape the future of our music ecosystem on the other.'
