Zayn Malik has confessed that the popular Australian children’s cartoon Bluey ‘makes him cry regularly’.
The Pillowtalk hitmaker, 31, who shares a daughter Khai, three, with ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid, said he has become a very ‘sensitive guy’ since welcoming his child.
Now, he finds it difficult to hold back the tears while watching Disney movies and often sobs at Bluey’s hard-hitting storylines.
‘They hit hard, my man; it’s no joke… I cried at a cartoon, I don’t know if it’s familiar with people. It’s called Bluey. It’s for kids,’ he told NYLON.
‘It makes me cry regularly. I don’t know why. They have amazing script writers and some of the stories are just so like, wicked for parents, you know?’

‘There’s always like an underlying message that they always get me, man. They choke me up, I end up crying,’ he added.
The former One Direction star recently told how fatherhood ‘changed him’ for the better as he gave a rare insight into his family life earlier this week.
The British singer-songwriter co-parents his little one with ex Gigi, 29, who he split from in late 2021 after five years of on-and-off dating.

Zayn told Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcast how being a dad ‘changed his approach to a lot of things in life’, taught him patience and given more depth to his songwriting.
Zayn also admitted that before having Khai he thought he would be a strict parent but actually that has been far from the case.
‘I thought, “Oh I won’t let them get away with this,” and that but actually I do everything she asks me to do!’ he said.
Zayn and Gigi initially dated from 2015 to 2018. After a brief split, they reconciled, only to break up again in 2019, before reuniting early in 2020 and welcoming their daughter Khai
‘[It] has influenced me across the board. Being a father also gives me so much more depth to my song writing when I am talking about real life things.
‘I have more to say now, I have this love for this being that I never understood before.
‘I have no fears expressing that as it is such a good feeling that I’ve been through.’
