Blue Wiggle Anthony Field’s Spray Tan Roasted at 2024 Logie Awards

A star of children’s band The Wiggles has been mocked for his look at the 2024 Logie Awards.

Anthony Field, who played the Blue Wiggle in the band’s original lineup, took to the stage on Sunday at Australian TV’s night of nights in a very striking getup.

Wearing an American Old West themed suit, Anthony presented the Logie Award for Best Children’s Program alongside his original bandmates Jeff Fatt, Greg Page, and Murray Cook.

But some fans noticed that Field, 61, appeared to have been liberal with his spray tan for the night.

Viewers of the Logies broadcast took to X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday to roast the children’s entertainer.

‘Anthony, you should have toned down the fake tan if your fellow Wiggles were not fake tanned lmao,’ advised one viewer.

‘Anthony Wiggle has given himself the real Trump spray tan tonight,’ another jokingly commented.

Meanwhile, one more viewer mused that Field’s appearance suggested a career change might be on the cards.

‘Can’t wait for Anthony Field to release the Wiggled tequila range with that suit,’ joked another X-user.

It comes as other viewers tuned in to Channel Seven to mock the show.

The award’s ceremony went down like a lead balloon with some, and several people shared their thoughts on X.

‘Is anyone even going to watch the Logies? Except for Sam Pang, I have zero interest,’ wrote one person.

Another agreed: ‘Literally just said that to the missus. How is the Logies still a thing??’

‘The Logies is so f***ing funny bro like the only people really caring about them is the celebrities involved and at the event the only reason it is worth watching is for the Twitter feed,’ someone else said.

‘God, are the Logies STILL going?’ joked one viewer alongside a crying laughing emoji.

‘Does anyone not working in TV actually even care about the logies these days,’ one person asked.

‘Most irrelevant awards around surely,’ they added.

Many were also irritated by the frequent promotion for Channel Seven’s reality series The Voice throughout the show.

‘What’s with the Voice promo in the middle of the red carpet banter?’ asked one viewer.

‘I want to watch the Logies. Not The Voice. How dare they get all cross-promotional on us!’

Someone else chimed in: ‘Oh god. How many The Voice will we have to sit through tonight?’

Yet another added jokingly: ‘I do not consent to watching The Voice’.

‘Of course channel 7 has to promo their next show during the Logies,’ one more person posted.
