Blake Lively Spoofed in Comedic Deposition Skit by Sydney Sweeney Roaster

Blake Lively has been spoofed in a hilarious deposition skit by Los Angeles-based comedian Michael Pavano – who also roasted Sydney Sweeney amid woke backlash against her American Eagle campaign.

Last week, Blake was accompanied by her husband Ryan, sister Robyn and eight lawyers as she gave evidence under oath in New York City as part of her ongoing legal battle with It Ends With Us director/co-star Justin Baldoni, who was also at the deposition with his own legal team.

The pair are preparing to go to court next year in March after Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and of creating a smear campaign against her in a lawsuit filed in December 2024.

Shortly after last week’s deposition, Michael parodied the Gossip Girl alum in a skit titled ‘The Blake Lively Deposition.’

The actor is no stranger to playing Blake in a number of videos uploaded to his Instagram and TikTok pages – where he has so far gained a combined total of nearly 1.2 million followers across both platforms.

In one clip shared on Tuesday, he could be seen donning a blonde wig and multiple beanies – seemingly a reference to Blake’s viral outfits that her character wore in It Ends With Us.

The actress previously revealed that some of the items that she wore while filming the movie based on Colleen Hoover’s novel of the same name were her own.

‘A lot of it’s my real-life clothes or my husband’s clothes or my girlfriend Gigi’s clothes,’ she told Today last year, referencing to pal and model Gigi Hadid. ‘I was borrowing some.’

Michael’s deposition video kicked off as his version of Blake was questioned why she chose to bring eight lawyers along with her.

‘That’s because they keep quitting,’ he answered, mimicking the actress’s voice. ‘And I need rotation. Besides, walking into a room with eight lawyers behind you looks pretty bada** doesn’t it Justin?’

The camera then panned over to another actor playing Justin – who had both starred in and directed It Ends With Us.

Blake was also cast in a leading role in the movie and she additionally received a producer credit as well.

‘Please stop talking to me,’ the actor playing Justin said. As the deposition skit began to carry on, Michael then interrupted to begin asking ‘technical’ questions about the camera before offering his own direction.

A voice from behind the camera asked, ‘Ms. Lively. Do you know that this is a legal deposition and not a film production?’

‘Absolutely,’ Michael replied. ‘But I’m being recorded right now and I would like to make this something that we’re both proud of. I’m trying to protect us both.

‘So it would be great if we can just lose the top light and punch up the dialogue a little bit, please,’ he continued.

When asked to ‘define’ his role when it came to It Ends With Us per the contract, Michael answered, ‘Well the contract said actor – lead actor – but I knew that I would be the heart and soul of the piece.

‘So, I made sure on purpose I didn’t reveal that I would be directing, editing, overseeing every aspect of the project. I just did it.’

Blake previously claimed that her husband Ryan rewrote one of the scenes in the film and later apologized to the movie’s screenwriter Christy Hall.

The actor playing Justin calmly explained, ‘When Blake first signed on to the movie, she told me that she didn’t need control. Two days later, she took over craft services and renamed all the snacks. Why? Couldn’t tell you.’

He later said that she had sent him a different ending to the film for three months before the pair began to argue about his directing.

Michael uploaded a second part to the deposition skit which showed Michael attempting to comb the actor playing Justin’s hair.

Other topics were brought up in the clip, such as Justin’s name allegedly being removed from the It Ends With Us poster and claims Blake requested that Justin and his family stay in the basement during the NYC premiere of the film.

‘Well, we were basically over capacity,’ Michael said in response. ‘Something had to give. It was either Justin’s family or the floral archway. I also sent them a chacuterie board which by the way I was never thanked for.’

His version of Blake later talked about saving the deposition and explained that it is a ‘full-on character study.’

Michael also parodied Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle campaign last week in a video shared to his social media pages.

He dressed in denim and mimicked her sultry voiceover from the ads – which have since garnered backlash from woke critics.

Last week on Thursday, Blake was accompanied by her husband Ryan and sister Robyn to the deposition in NYC.

Blake was also joined by eight lawyers, but her husband and sibling did not go into the same room as her where the deposition took place.

Sources who had witnessed the star arrive to the deposition stated that she ‘cut a confident figure.’

Justin also was in the same room with Blake as well as his own business partner Jamie Heath and others.

Blake claimed Justin was able to nuzzle her neck and comment on the way she smelled without anyone else on set hearing because their microphones were switched off.

But footage which later emerged seemed to prove the opposite: not only were the microphones on, but the pair had spent most of the scene happily chatting about their respective spouses.

Blake also claimed Justin orchestrated a negative media campaign against her have also been called into question thanks to her reliance on what his team have described as ‘doctored’ texts.

Documents filed by Justin claim that the texts between his publicists Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel, had been edited to remove context and were incomplete.

Earlier this year a New York judge tossed the actress’s emotional distress claim after she refused to release her medical records to Justin’s team.

However last month Blake claimed total ‘vindication’ after the judge sensationally tossed almost all of Justin’s $400 million countersuit against the actress and her husband Ryan.

There will be further depositions before the case comes to trial in March next year.

Blake’s lawyers have subpoenaed 107 content creators who have circulated negative stories about her in what they say was a coordinated campaign.

The creators say that the content arose organically due to Lively’s behavior on the press tour for the film, and behavior on previous publicity tours which had given her a reputation for ‘mean girl’ behavior.
