Blake Lively stepped out for a rare public outing in Westport, Connecticut ahead of the holidays amid her heated legal battle with Justin Baldoni.
The actress, who was recently accused of improvising an unscripted kiss while filming It Ends With Us, appeared to keep a low profile as she ran errands at Trader Joe’s.
While browsing the aisles, the Gossip Girl star, 38, looked cozy in a chunky taupe knit cardigan, distressed patchwork jeans, a stylish, white beanie and tan UGG boots.
Among the items spotted in her shopping bags were Chili & Lime Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips, Trader Joe’s Organic Popcorn with Olive Oil, Super Sour Scandinavian Swimmers and what appeared to be fresh pomegranate seeds.
The outing marks a rare sighting of the star, who has largely kept out of the public eye as her increasingly tense legal dispute with Baldoni continues to unfold behind the scenes.
Despite the ongoing turmoil, she appeared calm and at ease, chatting with store staff while waiting at the checkout before exiting with several brown paper bags in hand.

Lively appeared to be shopping solo, as she was not accompanied by her husband Ryan Reynolds or any of their four children: James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and Olin, 1.
The couple own a $6 million home in Pound Ridge, New York, which sits on 11.65 acres and is complete with seven bedrooms, a guest house and barn.
Reynolds most recently appeared out last week while speaking at The Wall Street Journal CMO Council Summit on Tuesday in New York City.
‘I’m screwed if people start agreeing with me because I’m the boss or something,’ he said on stage.
The Deadpool actor explained how he enjoys ‘dissent’ in the workplace and initially struggling as a young actor with ‘strong opinions’ on how to voice creative disagreements.
‘They don’t say ‘this producer’s movie flopped’ or ‘this director’s’ — that’s me. So if I’m going to be on that headline, I’d like to be the architect of my own demise or success,’ he stressed.
Now, he feels more comfortable taking ‘control’ and admitted compliance makes him feel ‘ill.’
‘When I go outside, I get pats in the back, and it’s a selfie parade, and I oblige everyone, pretty much, and my kids only see that,’ he said. ‘So I’ve learned lately to make sure to talk about the failures, and that how that is literally the base and ingredient for everything else.’

Lively’s sighting comes just weeks after Baldoni filed a bombshell deleted scene as part of his motion for summary judgment, alleging that Lively engaged in unscripted physical contact during filming.
The minute-long hospital hallway clip, also shot in May 2023, shows Lively’s character Lily walking up to Baldoni’s Ryle, grabbing his arms, planting a quick kiss on him and walking away smiling.
According to Baldoni’s legal team, the kiss was not in the script, and Lively not only approved it but ‘oversaw’ the scene and added it to every take.
In December 2024, Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and retaliation, allegations he firmly denies.
In the legal saga between the former co-stars, Baldoni fired back against her sexual harassment suit with his own defamation complaint against her, her actor husband Ryan Reynolds and her publicist Leslie Sloane.
He launched a $400 million suit against the New York Times, accusing the paper of defaming him with its bombshell expose reporting Lively’s claims of sexual harassment on the set of It Ends With Us – which he denies.

His counterattack was subsequently dismissed in June – leaving Baldoni to face Lively’s sexual harassment lawsuit as the only case still standing.
It comes as his claims against Lively, Reynolds and The Times have seemingly been thrown out by the judge, according to new court papers reported by the Daily Mail last month.
The motion picture, which also starred Jenny Slate, Hasan Minhaj, Brandon Sklenar and Kevin McKidd, was based on the 2016 novel by Colleen Hoover.
The storyline of the film centered around a toxic relationship between Lily Bloom (played by Lively) and Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni).
